"Ew." Evelynn retracted suddenly as she spotted a rat scurrying across the floor.
She grimaced, her eyes following the creature as it scuttled along. She yelped in shock as 20 odd more rats ran from around the corner in the corridor, and panic shapeshifted into a bird to get away from the swarm of rodents.
Evelynn rushed to Pollux's office as soon as the rats were out of sight, knocking rapidly at his door.
"What?!" A high pitched and stressed voice called out, Evelynn opened the door.
Pollux was pacing around his office, throwing paper around.
"Um...Sir?"
Pollux threw his student an impatient glare. "What is it Lynn?"
"There were...rats running in the hall- a lot of rats."
He dropped the remaining paper in his hands to the floor. "Rats?! Honestly so immature. Frankly RIDICULOUS, why is no one doing anything about it? Send the damn students to the doom room- oh wait. OF COURSE the doom room guy vanished for some mystery unknown to everyone! RATS?!"
Evelyn blinked at the professor. "Are you okay Sir?"
"No I'm not okay Evelynn. Because some students from the school for evil are sneaking into our school and planting evil tricks and pranks with animals and blue dye and- URGH." He glared at her again. "Just get out."
Evelynn pursed her lips and stepped out of the office. Now she had a new objective, to find the pranksters and catch them.

"Tedros." Evelynn snapped, barging into her boyfriend's room. She liked his room, she liked the long flowing curtains that always fluttered around because of the constantly open windows, she liked that it smelled of him, she liked that his bed was never made and still looked so comfortable.
Tedros yelped in a plank on the floor, nearly collapsing.
Evelynn frowned. "Uh, what are you doing?"
"I was trying to do press-ups. What are you doing?"
Evelynn glanced at the door. "Sorry for barging in, won't happen again, but... there are Nevers breaking into the palace and planting tricks all over the school."
Tedros stood, approaching her with gritted teeth. "I know. I've seen it. Sophie."
Evelynn's face fell, realisation clouding her eyes. "Sophie?"
"She's angry with me Evy, I chose you. I left her for dirt."
"Well it's not like she didn't deserve it." Evelynn grumbled.
Tedros smiled, placing his hands on her shoulders and looking into her eyes. "Don't get salty, we can sort this out."
Evelynn grabbed his hand, he was warm. "Okay! Come on let's find Agatha."
Tedros groaned. "Agatha? Really? She's so...depressing."
Evelynn threw him a sharp glare, continuing to drag him through the corridors. "Hey! Don't be mean. Agatha helps me all the time, she's a good friend and she's bound to change Sophie's mind."
"How will we even find Sophie?"
Evelynn stopped abruptly, Tedros nearly walked into her.
"That's a good point. Agatha might know."
Tedros moved next to her and slid his arm around her shoulders. "Okay, we'll go to Agatha, but chill out Evy."
She glanced up at him, a content smile tugging at her lips. Tedros leaned down to kiss her and she melted into him, then pulled away suddenly.
