A new family just moved into the house across the road. They seem to be all teenagers though. Maybe they live with foster parents. I decided to bake cookies and get to know them a bit more. So, after baking a batch of chocolate chip cookies, I wrapped them in foil and went over, knocking smartly on their mahogany front door.

Ten seconds later the door opened by a girl with coca brown skin and unusual golden eyes. "Hello Ma'am! Can we help you?" she asked politely. I liked her a lot. She seemed nice. I smiled at her. "Yes dear. I just baked some cookies for you and was wondering if I could meet all of you," I explained. She looked slightly worried when I said I wanted to meet them, but smiled nonetheless and let me in.

Their house was nice, there were pictures of many children on the walls. They almost always looked beaten up and bruised but smiling happily. Some stood out to me like one of a girl with choppy brown hair and a blonde boy with a scar under his lip staring up at the stars. It was a very beautiful picture. Another was a boy with black hair on one knee holding out a ring to a blonde girl. They couldn't have been more than eighteen in that picture! My lips tightened. How could their parents allow that? The last one almost had me screaming. There was a girl with black hair and electric blue eyes(Thalia), kissing another girl with long brown hair(Reyna)! That wasn't right!

I had to educate them about making the right choices in life. Soon the living room filled with about 12 teens, ranging from fifteen to twenty. They were all smiling at me and the blonde one asked me to have a seat. They seemed nice enough. Maybe I should refrain from judging them. "Hi! My name is Annabeth Jackson, and this is my husband, Percy Jackson. And you are?" "My name is Stacy. May I ask, how old are you? How did your parents allow you to get married so young?" I asked. All their eyes hardened. "We're twenty. And we have had a very hard life. All of us. And our parents didn't care. They are mostly dead or left us anyway," said the black haired boy apparently named Percy coldly, glaring at me. His glare was scary. I swallowed. "Oh ok then. I just came to give you these cookies." I said, putting them on a table. "Thank you Ms Stacy." replied a choppy haired girl, her voice also cold. "You're welcome. I'll just go now." I said, a little terrified of the teens. As soon as I got out of their house, I never ever went back again. Those teenagers were scary!

This was kind of a lame chapter but I wanted to write something so here it is
