You push him walking out of the school. You just want to go home and lie on your bed.

Sleep for a while.

Maybe things would get better after that.

"Jungkoook" A familiar voice lingers in your ears as you ball your fists tightly trying to control yourself from picking up the iron rod beside you and smash her head.

"Wait.. Soojin." You suddenly feel dizzy so you stop on your tracks keeping your hand on the wall beside you.

"Y/n, you don't look okay. Your lips are bleeding. Let's go to the nurse room." He walks in front of you bending a little.

As you are about to speak, Soojin interrupts you.

"She is fine. Let's go Jungkook." She holds his hand but he swiftly pulls back.

"Soojin, go." He states firmly. She squints her eyes glaring at you who is standing with your eyes shut.

"What the fuck, Jungkook? Shouldn't you prioritise your girlfriend over that shitty friend?" He takes a deep breath turning towards her.

"For your information, we were never in a relationship. Didn't I show it to you, last night?" She scoffs looking away.

"Are you listening, y/n? I told you, he is a fucking player. He just toys around with girls. Why couldn't you stay away from him? And after that slap I gave you five minutes ago, still if you go with him, you're no more than a Bitch."

She pants heavily after shouting but when she feels a burning glare from beside, she realizes what she just spoke.

She takes a step back.

"N.. No Jungkook. I-I meant to sa-"

He shows her his palm stopping her from speaking.

"Let me deal with you later." He warns turning back to you.

"Y/n, can you walk?" He asks as you hesitantly nod your head.

He decides to carry you in his arms as you look weak.

He carries you to his car making you sit on the passenger seat. He lowers the seat so you can sit comfortably before he sits on the driver seat.

He throws yours and his bag on the back seat before driving to his house.

"Auw-" You wince in pain when he brushes the cotton bud over your lips.

"Did you slap her back?" He asks putting antiseptic on your wound carefully.

"I did." You state firmly, a bit proud of yourself. In this school, it was the very first time when you chose violence. You fought a lot back in high school but colleges had more strict rules so you couldn't behave the same.

High school was fun. You could just slap anyone playfully. Doesn't matter if it hits hard or not, they wouldn't take it seriously. Some might forget it. Some might slap back.

But hitting was done playfully and harmlessly.

"Should've slammed her on the locker too. How dare she push you?" He sounds a bit angry now. You bite back a smile looking at his face.

"But why did the two of you fight?" He partially knows the answer to that, but wants to hear from your mouth.

"Well... I kind of said something to her last night..." Yeah, he knows. He saw it and you know that he saw it too.

"What did you say?" He tilts his head narrowing his eyes.

"She said first. I just replied back." He nods his head heaving out a sigh.

"What did she say?" You poke your cheeks glancing at him.

"Uh... She-She said... You.. She-" You couldn't find any words to explain.

"I forgot." He makes on o shape from his lips nodding his head.

Doesn't matter, he already knows what happened.

"I wanna go back home." You state as you are suddenly reminded of the fact that you are not on good terms with him for now.

"And I am not letting you go." He stands up from his chair walking out of the room to bring food for you.

"Hey, I wan-" You try to stand up but your back actually hurts a lot and is in no mood to cooperate with you.

Leaving you with no options, you sit there waiting for him.

Soon, he's back with some snacks because you probably are in no mood to eat something heavy.

You eat with him in silence until he speaks.

"Want to watch any movie?" You are suddenly reminded of the time when you were hanging out with Taehyung and Jungkook and the theatre incident.

You let out a chuckle unconsciously.

"What?" You shake your head.

"You remember our movie night? When we were kicked out of the theatre?" He groans throwing his head back in embarrassment.

"But I had fun." He states as you nod your head agreeing with him.

"Me too." And there's again an awkward silence.

He is in his own thoughts while you are thinking too.

He suddenly holds your hands looking into your eyes.

"Y/n, let's be bestfriends again. I promise to not fall in love with you this time."

You feel your every single brain cell shutting down.

Was that a confession?

You have a strange feeling in your stomach as he says that.

You tilt your head narrowing your eyes at him.

"Does that mean you're over me now?" You ask him a straightforward question.

He stares down at your hands rubbing his thumb in circles slowly.

He thinks for a while before shaking his head.

"I just... I am tired of fighting with you. I just want to be with you. I don't care about any labels we give to our relationship. All that matters, is you."

You feel red tint crept on your cheeks as your heart pounds crazily inside your chest.

You didn't even know that this is what your heart wanted to hear since so long.

But, it's hard to ignore who this guy is.

It wasn't even 24 hours ago when you saw him with a girl and then another bitch walked upto him stating that she is his girlfriend.

Even if he denied, you knew that Soojin was someone special to him. Otherwise, he is not the type to meet a girl second time.

She's your biggest insecurity. It feels as if she can replace you.

But again, you can't ignore the sincerity in Jungkook's eyes.

It says thousands of words he would never dare to speak to you.

Maybe, he's just too afraid to lose you. It doesn't matter if you are his lover or best friend.

As he said, the label doesn't matter.

You do.

And what he says next kind of confused you in your thoughts.

But at the same time, it makes you want to be with him longer than forever.

"I love you.... But I am afraid, you don't love me back."
