9: reality

It wasn't a very long flight, but Jacob and I talked the entire time.

"What made you study fashion?" He asked, turning his body towards me a little. I smile.

"I remember when I was little I used to walk around the city with my mom and see people with different styles. I loved it! My mother used to tell me how each of us has a different style and that it's our way to express ourselves, showing everyone who we are."

"That's nice. Quite beautiful."

"Yeah."

"You're from Miami?"

"New York."

Jacob's smile reached his eyes. "I love New York."

"Coffee or tea?"

For the last hour, Jacob and I decided to play this or that to get to know each other better.

"Coffee, Jacob, coffee." I laughed, "Movies or Series?"

"Mhm, movies. Sunny or rainy?"

"Oh! I love rainy days, but I have to say sunny." He agreed with me. "Do you pour milk before or after the cereal?"

"Come on, SJ. It's definitely after the cereal."

"Good! I'm relieved!" We laughed, earning a couple of stares from strangers.

We landed a few minutes ago. Our suitcases are on the way to the house where we will be staying for the next six months.

"Do you guys want to walk around a little before heading to the house?" Bene asked.

"Sure! We can take pictures for your account," I suggested. The boys agreed, slightly slapping me on the back. "Oh! Okay! Okay!"

"Sorry, we're used to being just guys," Luis said. "Oh, and speaking of guys, Jojo's landing tomorrow, so we need to get him at the airport."

"Who is Jojo?"

"Our digital creator. He's so good!" Julien exclaimed, "Don't forget, Angie's coming on Friday." I was about to ask who she was, but Julien smiled and said, "She's my girl."
