Olivia Rhodes,18, arrived to University of Wyoming, and she is excited. She just got keys to her dorm, went to it. She saw a girl her age unlock the door.
"Are you Cady Longmire?" Olivia said. "You must be Olivia Rhodes." Cady said. "I am." Olivia said. "We're roommates." Cady smiled.
They walked into their dorm, and it was a nice layout.

"Hey they got a lunchroom." Cady said. "I'm hungry. Want to go?" "Yeah." Olivia said.
They both went to the lunchroom, and ran into some others.
"This is Branch Connally." Cady said. "These guys are Victoria Moretti or Vic for short. Mathias Clark. Archie Ferguson or Ferg. And this is my boyfriend Zachary Heflin."
They all accepted Olivia to their gang. They went to the lunchroom, and got their food.

They sat down at the table, and Mathias was next to Olivia.
"Where are you from?" Branch said. "Denver, Colorado." Olivia said. "Detective Fales tried to get my godfather to prisoner for a murder he didn't commit. He's from Denver." Cady said. "Fales tried to do that to my father." Olivia said. "Man." Mathias said. "Sounds like he tried to do both of you dirty." "Yeah." Olivia said. "After that my dad committed suicide. My mom this last year died of cancer. The school gave me a scholarship to any university and I chose this one." "I'm sorry you had to go through with that." Ferg said. "Detective Fales lost his license." Olivia said. "I sued him." "Good!" Cady said. "And you, Mathias?" Olivia said. "I live on the Res." Mathias said. "Cheyenne Indian Reservation. It's a poor community. We make it work. Life is tough." "Life is tough, but you come back stronger. Don't forget that." Olivia said. "I won't." Mathias said. "I got to go." Branch said. "Bye." They all said in unison.
Branch left, and they all finished their food.
"We're all freshmen." Cady said. "There is a welcome ceremony tonight at 5pm. Dinner and dance. You coming?" "Yeah." Olivia said.
They all walked outside, and we're in the grass. Two blonde chicks came over.
"You have that dirty Indian in your group still? I thought I told you to get rid of him." Kelsea said. "I would never." Cady said. "Hey!" Olivia said. "The only dirty rats are you. You look like you're bunch skanky girl who can't dress appropriately on campus. So leave them alone. Plus he's not a dirty Indian. He's a decent human being. You're just a disgusting bitches who has nothing better to do than to harass people."
The Blondies left. Mathias was upset at what they called him.
"Don't listen to them." Olivia said. "I don't need you fight my battles for me." Mathias said, angrily.
He walked away, and everyone was sitting there in shock. Olivia was embarrassed about it. She went to her dorm, and read a book. 5:30pm arrived, and Cady was ready. Olivia wore I simple t-shirt and shorts. She had a red/black plaid shirt on over her simple t-shirt, and they walked to Branch. Mathias was there too. Olivia ignored his stares. She and Cady were talking.
"Can we talk." Mathias said. "No." Olivia said. "You're not worth my time."
Olivia got up, and left. Mathias went back to Branch.
The party was over, and Olivia sat on her bed.
"I defended him, and he yells at me?" Olivia said. "I don't want to be his friend. I just met him." "They've been doing this to him since high school." Cady said. "Mathias is not used to people defending him. We all tried to but he'd tell us to stop. So don't worry about him."
