Freshmen: Their Life In College -Longmire-

    It has been a month since Branch's death, and the 5 friends are back in college. Mathias and Olivia ate their lunch slowly. Cady was a no-show again. She will be seen around, and won't talk to no one.

     "I'm gonna go talk to her." Olivia said.

   Olivia found Cady in the hall.

      "Ok what's wrong!?" Olivia said. "You haven't been with us since we got back."
      "I just need to be alone." Cady said.
      "You've been alone for a month." Olivia said.
      "Just shut up ok!?" Cady said. "You've been nothing but a pest since you got here. I should've never introduced you to any of them. You're a lowlife. Your parents died because they never loved you!"

     Olivia just stood there in shock, and Cady instantly regretted saying those words.

      "Olivia I'm..." Cady was cut off.
      "You're a bitch." Olivia said. "I don't need friends anymore anyways. Go to hell."
     
     Olivia walked off. She went to the dean and asked to go leave Cady's dorm. She told him why, and he changed her dorm room. It's a single bed, and she loves it.

    Olivia designed her own room, and left. She is approached by Mathias.

      "Hey." Mathias said.
      "I got to go." Olivia said.

     Olivia walked off quickly, and went to class. Mathias thought that was weird.

     After classes, the friends approach Olivia.

       "Hey we're going to dinner." Vic said.
       "I'll pass." Olivia said.
       "Why?" Ferg said.
       "Because I don't want to." Olivia said.
       What's your deal huh?" Vic said. "You blew Mathias off. And you refused to come with us."
       "I don't need you guys." Olivia said. "I never did. I didn't come here to make friends. I came here to study. I don't want to be friends with any of you.
        "Ok fine then! Come on Ferg." Vic said.
   
     Vic, and Ferg left.

    The next day, Olivia is in class with Mathias, and he completely ignored her. Vic told him Olivia  doesn't want to be friends anymore. It angered him. Olivia walked out as soon as the professor dismissed them, and went to her dorm. She dropped off her school work, and went to the lunchroom. Cady and Zachary were talking.

      "Olivia over here!" Cady said.

    Olivia gives Cady the bird, and she got her lunch. She sat at a table alone, and ate alone. After dinner, Olivia was walking into town, and got some no refrigerated food. Snacks. She came back, and is stopped by Zach.
 
       "What's wrong?" Zach said. "Giving my girlfriend the bird."
       "She deserved it." Olivia said.
       "Why?" Zach said.
       "She said I'm a lowlife." Olivia said. "That she shouldn't have introduced me to you guys, which is why I ended my friendship with them. And said my parents died because they didn't love me. So yeah there you go."
        "That's unlike Cady." Zach said.
        "See this is why I don't say anything to any of you. You won't believe me. Just leave." Olivia said.

     Olivia walked away, and went to bed that night.

     Morning came, and Olivia was in the cafeteria. She sat down at the table, and ate alone. She's getting used to this. Mathias walked in, and got his breakfast and sat down with Vic, and Ferg.

      "I can't believe I let her in my life." Mathias said. "She was a good kid. I feel betrayed."
      "No." Cady said. "I'm the one who told her that she shouldn't be friends with you all. I told her she's a lowlife. That I shouldn't have introduced her to you guys. And that her parents died because they didn't love her. It's my fault."
      "Why?" Vic said. "Because Branch died? You're not the only one who lost a friend!?"
      "I'm gonna go talk to her." Mathias said.

   Mathias took his lunch and went to Olivia. He sat down in front of her.

      "I got..." Olivia said.
      "Don't." Mathias said. "You're not gonna run off on me like you did before. Cady told us why. She told is it's her fault. What she said to you is wrong. But you don't get to run off like that."
      "And why not?" Olivia said.
      "BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" Mathias said.

    Olivia froze right there. She never knew he was someone who'd love her.

       "Since the day we met, I knew I'd find the one. A beautiful woman." Mathias said.
       "I don't feel the same." Olivia said.

    Olivia has just rejected him. It upset him, and he walked away.
