Chapter 2- What does Jagi mean?

Chapter 2

A few days had come and gone and I still haven't heard from Jimin, though I figured he was probably busy. I can't say it didn't sting a bit to be so easily forgotten, you'd think I'd be used to it by now though.

"I'm going out with the boys, don't wait up"

I nod still staring down at my phone. It feels like things have only gotten worse between us these days, I roll my eyes when the front door slams. It was only three o' clock no doubt he'd be with his girlfriend for the rest of the day.

"Hey bub wanna go shopping?"

Ada pokes her head out from around the corner and smiles wide, I knew she was listening close by. She always lingers when her father talks to me just in case anything happens, I hated that she felt the need to even though I've reassured her I'm good and happy she ignores me.

"I'll get my shoes!"

"So I've been thinking..."

"That is never a good sign"

I tease making my girl laugh and bump my side "Jay has been doing dance lessons after school and I was wondering if I could maybe check out the class? I know I'm already doing a lot but this is like the one thing I really wanna do"

I smile as we head out of the store and wonder around the open courtyard between all the high end shops. "Do you think you can handle it or will we have to pull you out of one of your other after school activities?" Her excited smile is already creeping up on her face no way of hiding it at this point. "I can handle it mom, I promise!"

"I didn't say yes yet, you know I have to run it by your father."

She frowns but nods her head, I wish I had a job to make my own money that way I wouldn't have to get his approval for anything. "Don't worry I'll make sure you can go to these dance classes only if you keep your grades up and tell me if it gets to be too much! I don't want you stressing yourself out. You're just a kid you know" she jumps with excitement and that happy smile is back on her face again.

"Spoken like a true mom"

We both turn and my heart drops, Ada grabs onto my arm and looks up at me with curious eyes.

"You must be the famous Ada"

It was him...I thought he'd be long gone by now after not hearing from him but there he was looking handsome as ever in his suit, it was Jimin. He looks me up and down with a small smirk on his face before he extends his hand towards Ada, I sigh and nod towards her letting her know it's okay to shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, I'm an old friend of your moms" I give him a look and he chuckles, all while Ada gives us this curious look that oddly enough looks like Jimin.

"Sorry I haven't been able to call you Jagi, I've been swamped at work. But today happened to clear up and what are the odds of me running into you"

He has that smug look on his face now as he closes the gap between us and embraces me in his arms. I had to keep in control this time though Ada was here, even though it felt nice to have him wrapped around me once again.
