Chapter 4

"Wow you can really sing"

Jimin smirks over at me as I roll my eyes and sip my wine, he was really good with kids. A side of Jimin I never got to see or experience, the whole having friends over for a bit had turned into a full blown sleepover. I was exhausted and wanted to curl up and die if im being honest but I just couldn't say no to Ada.

She had no idea what I had went through today and she was having fun in her own home for a change, normally she couldn't have friends over unless her father was in fact out of town. So I had to give into the girl and let her enjoy some normalcy.

"Jimin was going to be in a Kpop group, so obviously he's a great singer and he can dance"

Ada brags making Jimin blush and giggle as he throws himself down next to me, I roll my eyes once more as he looks up at me with that flirtatious smile.

"That's so cool!"

Jenny says batting her lashes in Jimin's direction, I laugh as does Jimin before he sits up more and wraps an arm around me. "You're up Mini let's hear what you can do" Ada smiles and scrolls through the songs, I know she was way too eager to show off her own singing voice. She had a really good one but that's no surprise, she seemed to have inharet everything from Jimin even his brattyness.

She starts to sing as her friends sing backup as Jimin sits their in awe of her, it was hard to enjoy these precious moments like this because he had no idea of the truth. Honestly if he was going to be around more I should probably tell him, but I needed to get my life in order first not add stress and drama.

"She's really something isn't she"

Jimin mumbles pulling me closer into his side, I nod as he takes my wine from me and downs it. I shake my head as he eyes me once again, this time his face seems a bit more serious "You doing okay jagi?" instantly my eyes water at his soft spoken words, I nod my head once more and get up from my spot.

It was odd for me to have someone in my life be so concerned for me, it felt nice to be honest and although I know I shouldn't enjoy it I allow myself too. But just for tonight.

"Okay guys its getting late so last song then we can put on a movie, ill go make the popcorn"

I smile over at Ada, she looked so excited and genuinely happy. It made me feel emotional, because all I ever wanted was to continue to see her happy and give her the best life I could. I really had to get out of here. "I'll help" Jimin says jumping up and following me in the kitchen. "I'm pretty sure I can make popcorn by myself" I tease looking over my shoulder, his eyes quickly go from my ass to my eyes as a devilish smirk takes over those puffy lips of his.

"Didn't you know I make the best popcorn"

I roll my eyes before pulling the popcorn from the cabinet as well as a pan, I turn the stove on and throw some butter and popcorn kernels into the pan before covering it with a lid. I can feel Jimin's eyes on me the whole time, I know he's still trying to figure out what happened.

"You're a good mom jagi"

I freeze as his words flow through my ears, once again my eyes instantly water as I look over at him, his soft smile makes my insides break. "I mean it, I can see how much Ada loves and adores you and she's a really good kid. I'm only telling you this though because I need you to hear me" He steps closer now tucking his finger under my chin as he tilts my head gently upward to look at him.
