Chapter 18- Mrs. Park

Chapter 18

The next week moves in a blur, so much has happened since we had arrived and to be honest I felt a bit overwhelmed. But having Jimin with me has been amazing, it was cute that he officially asked me out. Though I still felt nervous for whatever reason, knowing that his parents didn't like me may have played into those feelings though.

I know how it looked to them, I was some single mother trying to mooch of their successful son. Although that wasn't necessarily the case it was still hard not to feel like shit about it, after all he was my employer and I lived with him. So in a way I was a mooch or at least that's how I felt.

"Mom is stressing out again"

I blink a few times and catch Ada softly smiling at me as Jimin turns away from the fridge and move towards me now. "I'm not, just thinking about some stuff" Jimin smiles before making his way over to me, he kisses my lips softly making Ada fake gag. She played the part well, but when Jimin asked her if he can date me she was over the moon about it. "Jagi, don't try to lie to us we both know that look on your face. Right mini?" She nods before stuffing her cheeks with food, Jimin chuckles as he watches her for a moment. "Cute" he mumbles before giving his attention back to me.

"Today is going to be fun, you'll see and we will change my mothers mind. Although I think she already does like you"

I roll my eyes making him chuckle and pull me into his chest for a hug, I happily wrap my arms around him and inhale his scent. I knew he was bullshitting but maybe today wouldn't be so bad? "Besides it's just dinner, I'm pretty sure we can survive that right?" I groan making him laugh and Ada roll her eyes playfully "and you guys say I'm dramatic"

"You are and clearly you get it from your mother"

Jimin teases making me push him back and glare in his direction "I'm kidding jagi, relax" I continue to glare playfully making him smile wide and come back over to wrap me in his embrace again "Careful Mr. Park or this will be your shortest relationship" he throws his head back and laughs with his whole body before tugging me with him and kissing my face up. Ada laughs as she continues eating the food I made earlier.

"You're both crazy"

Later that evening I found myself sitting across from Jimin's parents, with my two loves at my side. They were all too thrilled to see their baby boy and new granddaughter, me however not so much. Although Mr. Park did give me a hug and was pleasant much like that last time I seen him.

Mrs. Park gave me a head nod before she embraced Ada, I know Jimin seen that one because he looked taken back. But before he could say anything I grabbed his hand and gave him a reassuring smile, the last thing I wanted to do was get between him and his mother.

"Now that you're home are you planning on staying home? You've been gone much too long son"

Jimin smiles "We have to discuss some things first Eomma, Ada has school and stuff so we can't just pick up and leave just yet. Plus I haven't even gotten to talk to y/n about our arrangements" I smile up at Jimin as he wraps his arm around me, he was right we hadn't really discussed our future much.

"Do you not want to come home? You are originally from here aren't you y/n? What about your parents? I'm sure they'd love for you and my granddaughter to stay here"
