Hey gorgeous, welcome to my first story, I really hope you will enjoy it <3

Disclaimer: english is not my first language and i am not a writer so i know that it's not perfect but i enjoy writing, it calms me down so here we are.

Veronica is a 27 years old girl that has been working in her company for the past 4 years, she is a workaholic and would do anything for her job. She is still connected to her past but would do anything not to think about it and push it as far away as she can.

Etahn Robinson is a 30 years old man that has just moved from New York due to "family issues", and is now facing the opportunity to find a job for this big company that will need a new boss in the next few months. Ethan was raised as a bilingual child, between a father that expected way too much from him and a mother that just wanted her happy ending. Sadly for Ethan his act as "mr perfect" is just a cover to hide his past and his issues.

Veronica's boss, Alan Adams, is on his way to retirement and decides to call her in his office. For Veronica this might be the opportunity for her to finally get her dream job and substitute mr adams after his retirement, but instead is faced by Ethan Robinson, a guy, that is hella hot and has a "breathtaking" resume. They will end up together due to their need to compete for Mr Adams' place. Will this be only a "friendly" competition between two coworkers that hate each other or will it become something more?

tws: sex scenes, mature language, death of a parent, child abuse, cancer, daddy issues, mommy issues, anger issues, physical abuse, emotional abuse.

hope you enjoy the story
love you all<3
