Pranbir: His broken Angel

Part 1

Here it is: the first part of the new story.

Mehra house:
Everyone was in a rush. They brought their luggage in the hall and were doing last minute preparations to go somewhere.
Pragya: 'Where is this girl?'
Pallavi: 'She went to check on Ranbir. They must arrive shortly.'
Pragya nodded.

Ranbir's room:
Ranbir was sleeping soundly and was smiling. A girl approached him and was looking at him dreamily. That girl was Rhea.

Rhea came nearer and smiled as she saw how happy he was in his sleep. She approached him and stroked his hair.

Ranbir, still sleeping, whispered: 'Prachi...'
Rhea fumed hearing this. Ranbir opened his eyes and startled seeing her.
Ranbir: 'What are you doing here?' He got up fast, trying to escape her.
Rhea: 'I came to check on you. Everyone is ready to go. It's very important for you, Ranbir. I wanted to congratulate you.'

She tried to hug him, but he stopped her.
Ranbir:' Please, Rhea. I already told you this hundred times and I am telling you again, don't come near me or try to touch me. Got it.'
Rhea: 'but Ranbir, I am your fiancée...'
Ranbir: 'I broke every tie with you one year ago, so please. Don't give me this fiancée drama. I belong only to Prachi, get that straight.'
Rhea, clenching her fist: 'She is...'

Ranbir, threateningly: 'Don't you dare finish that. Get out of my room. (Angrily) Out.'

Rhea left unwillingly. Ranbir tugged his hair frustrated with Rhea.

Just then, Aryan entered his room.
Aryan: 'What was she doing here?'
Ranbir: 'The usual... I am going to get ready.' Aryan nodded.

Rhea came down fuming. Aliya noticed her and dragged her to the side, she questioned Rhea and Rhea told her everything,
Aliya: 'Rhea, give him some time...'
Rhea: 'It's been one year, Buji. One year. How long do I have to wait?'
Aliya: 'Calm down, Rhea. I will handle everything. Cheer up now.'
Rhea nodded and they joined everyone else.

Shahana also joined Aryan in Ranbir's room and signed him. He pointed to the washroom.
Ranbir came out and noticed them.
Ranbir: 'What happened to you two?'
Shahana: 'Congratulation. Your song is super hit, everyone is loving it and now, you are getting an award.'
Ranbir: 'Thanks.' He hugged both.
Aryan: 'Come on, everyone is waiting.'
Ranbir: 'You two go, I will come in 5 minutes.'
Arhana nodded and left.

Ranbir went to his bedside table and picked up his phone. He looked at Prachi's photo.

Ranbir: 'You would be so proud of me today. My song got super hit and now they are rewarding me. Everyone is so happy and thinks that I am delighted. But they do not know that my happiness is with you. Every joy and special moments are incomplete without you. Well, I need to go otherwise everyone will come here.'

Ranbir also went downstairs.
Pallavi blessed him and all congratulated him, while he just smiled and thanked them. Arhana looked at each other.
Aryan to Shahana: 'He is missing her badly.'
Shahana: 'Even I am.'

Abhi: 'Come on, we have to reach for the award ceremony in Mumbai. And as planned, we are going by bus, so come on. We will enjoy this trip.'

Everyone was settling in the bus when Pallavi dragged Ranbir with her.
Ranbir: 'What happened, mom?'
Pallavi: 'I am going to speak to Abhi and Pragya about yours and Rhea's marriage lat...'
Ranbir: 'Mom, please. I told this before. I am not getting married.'
Pallavi: 'Why not?'
Ranbir: 'No-one is getting Prachi's right. If not Prachi, then no-one.'
Pallavi: 'It's been one year, it's time for you to come out of this imaginary world.'
Ranbir: 'Imaginary or not, it's always going to be Prachi.'
Pallavi, shouting: 'She is dead, Ranbir.'
Ranbir, calmly: 'Are you sure? Do you have any proof? No. Prachi is fine wherever she is. And once again, no-one and I mean no-one will ever get Prachi's place in my heart and life."

Saying this he left while Pallavi was fuming. Ranbir and Arhana went at the back of the bus. Rhea wanted to sit next to Ranbir, but Arhana didn't let her.
So, she went to Pragya.

Everyone was chatting happily during the trip. They were eating and soon Rhea proposed a game: passing the parcel.
Arhana and Ranbir refused to participate. They were isolated from the rest. Arhana were talking to each other.
Ranbir just put his earphones and remembered what Pallavi said about Prachi earlier.

Ranbir closed his eyes and remembered what happened 1 year ago.

(This is going to be very filmy😂😂😂, please bear me.)

Flashback:
Pragya somehow proved that Abhi was innocent, and Police arrested Tanu instead for false accusations. Everything was going alright but then; Pradeep came to their place.
Tanu had completely manipulated him, and he wanted revenge for her arrest. One night, he kidnapped Prachi.

For a whole week, she was missing. They tried to search her, contacted police, and hired everyone to look for her. But it was in vain, they couldn't get any information. Ranbir and Pragya were going hysterical.

And then on the eighth day, Pragya received a phone call from Prachi who informed them that she managed to escape and sent her location.
Abhigya, Ranbir, and everyone else reached on a hill. But Pradeep had caught Prachi once again and held her at gunpoint.

Abhijeet: 'I know you must have called the police also. If you take one more step, I will shoot her.'
Abhi: 'Leave her. What do you want? I will give it to you.' Pradeep laughed.

While they were talking, Aryan and Ranbir hit Pradeep on his legs with rocks. He stumbled back and released Prachi. Abhi fought against him.
Abhigya went to hug Prachi but then Pradeep took the gun again and shot towards them. Prachi was the one who took the shot and lost her balance and fell.

Ranbir and Abhi tried to catch her hand, but it was too late.
End of flashback.

Ranbir opened his eyes as Aryan called him. Aryan noticed the tears in his eyes but didn't say anything.
