Pranbir: His broken Angel

Part 59

Next morning:
The sun was scorching and its' rays fell onto us... I opened my eyes unwillingly due to that. I was sleeping on Ranbir's chest.

I lifted my head and placed my chin on that spot. His face was glowing in the sun light and my fingers went to his cheek softly caressing it.

Somewhere in the middle of the night, he made me wear his shirt. Thankfully.... Because I wouldn't be able to meet his eyes: although he has already seen everything.

Ranbir:"Good morning...."
My subtle caress woke him up.
"Good morning..."

He smiled at my red cheeks:"you will always feel shy in these circumstances, it will never change."
I lightly nudged him.

"What time is it?"
He checked his watch and his eyes grew bigger.
Ranbir, tensed:"Shit... it's almost noon..."
"What?" My hands searched my phone who was in the front seat and I checked it. Indeed, nearly noon.

"That late... everyone will be worried at home."
Ranbir:"Aryan must have handled it, don't worry."
"Let's go."

I pulled him by his arms but his eyes moved to my body and I realized that he was shirtless.
"I will give you..." he nodded and climbed down the car.

Seeing that he was outside and stretching, I quickly removed his shirt and wore my hoodie back.
After that, I got down the car as well and handed him his shirt... he wore it, smiling at me.

Ranbir:"Chikchiki...."
I turned to him. He leaned in and gave me a peck on my lips.
Ranbir:"now it's a good morning."
I chuckled at him....
"Let's go, Baklu. We will romance later on..."

I went to open the door but he caught my waist and made me turn to him:"later... are you sure?"
I tried to hide my smile but he caught and chuckled.
"Let's go..." I told him blushingly.
He helped me getting in the car and then we started driving home.
Don't know what is the situation at home?
Mom must have gone to wake me up. Shahana might have handled for a while but I never woke up this late...

I looked at Ranbir but he looked unbothered.
"How come you are so calm? Aren't you worried?"

Ranbir, still unbothered:"nope... they will guess that we are together. And everyone knows about us so no problem at all... why are you so worried?"

I shrugged, it was true that they would know but somewhere Pallavi Aunty's thoughts came. She hasn't yet approved.
But at the same time, I couldn't tell this to Ranbir, he will feel bad.

It's better to stay quiet and not say anything right now. We will see what happens at home...

After half an hour, we finally reached home and Ranbir insisted to come to Mehra's house.
We came in but stopped seeing everyone there. They all looked on angrily...
We are gone... I looked at Ranbir and he also turned to me. He shrugged at me and we both turned to face the others again. I looked at Shahana but she had the same reaction as Ranbir.
They didn't know as well.

Papa approached us:"where were you?"
I gulped before trying to answer him, but Ranbir knew it and answered in my place.
Ranbir:"Chief, actually..."
Pallavi Aunty:"Ranbir..."
We looked at her and she also angrily approached us.

Pallavi Aunty, to Ranbir:"Where were you? I went to your room at night and didn't find you. Where were you the whole night?"
I looked at Ranbir tensed, but he wasn't.

Ranbir:"i took her out... and we didn't realise the time and fell asleep in the car. Sorry..."
Pallavi Aunty, angrily:"sorry? We were worried the whole time. Couldn't you at least tell us?"
"Sorry Aunty, we will inform you next tim..."
But with a sign of her hand, she stopped me.
