Pranbir: His broken Angel

Part 48

Ranbir's POV:
Indeed half an hour later, I was climbing her window. It's just like a piece of cake now, i easily climbed it.
Just as I reached up, I heard Prachi talking on the phone.
She seemed nervous:"Shahana, i am not going to spare you. You made me wear it just so you can see through video call.
I need to go with Ranbir, now let me change."

Need to go with me? Where?
Nevermind, maybe she was saying that she would come to my room.
Prachi:"i am going to change...."
This time, i heard Shahana's voice through the call:"Prachi, wait a little bit."

Prachi, strictly:"no..." She cut the call and I finally entered the room. I knocked something from the table and tried to catch it.
Got it... nope...
Yes got it!

Thank God, it didn't fall.... And didn't break. I put it back to its place and looked around.
"What are you doing?"

What's going on? My forehead frowned on their own seeing Prachi behind the curtain of the opposite window.
She was hiding behind it and was extremely nervous.

Prachi, nervously:"what are you doing here?"
"I told you i would come..."
Prachi, still in the same nervous tone:"that quick?"
I nodded.

"But why are you hiding?"
Her eyes avoided mine and met the floor as she tried to find an answer.
Prachi:"cockroach..."
I slightly moved forward looking behind me. There was nothing and it might have gone by my little commotion.

"Prachi, it must have gone. Come out."
Prachi, nervously screamed out:"No..."
I looked at her surprised and she also realised that. She smiled at me awkwardly before growing nervous again.

I was hell confused by her behaviour. What's wrong with her?
Prachi, trying to divert the topic:"what did you want for your birthday?"

"I am just here to talk to you. We haven't talk much today."
I was about to sit on her bed but stopped. I wanted her near me. So I went to her and saw her eyes grew bigger seeing me approaching her.

I didn't think much before holding her hands and pulling her out of her hiding spot.
She resisted at first, but why?

I stopped, turned to her and the reason was right in front of me....
I took a few steps back to take her in. She was in a cute silk pajama set. The top was almost like a crop top and the bottom, a short. It was a light brown colour complimenting her in every way possible.

Involuntarily, my eyes moved along her body, from her head to toes. I never saw her in such outfit: it was a little too much of skin show but I didn't mind it at all. She was looking mesmerizing, I couldn't take my eyes off of her even if I wanted.

I could clearly see the outline of her fading bruises on her waist area and her thighs. Last I saw them was in the bathroom when i used the roses to make her comfortable.
It worked perfectly as she was no longer bothered by them.

As my eyes went to her face, her eyes were closed nervously.
She didn't dare to look at me and went on explaining.
Prachi, in one go:"I didn't want to buy this but when Rhea took us in the shop, we found it cute and she insisted to buy it. Shahana also wanted one and she also insisted that i should buy one."

A smile automatically tugged at the corner of my mouth seeing her ranting about it.
Prachi:"Shahana wanted to see how it looks on me and i wore it. I didn't know you would come here so quickly. I was about to change but you came before I could..."

She didn't even take a breath in between her words. She was too cute for her own good. In order to stop her, I leaned in and placed a kiss on her cheek.

This immediately stopped her from speaking any further. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I was still very much close to her. And I didn't want to move back either.

Realising our proximity, she grew into a bundle of nerves. My eyes, unknowingly, moved to her lips. I would give anything to just kiss her right now. Her eyes followed mine and moved to my lips.

But as quickly that it went down, it was back up to my eyes. She was anxious and gulped... I knew I was making her feel certain things which she is scared of.
That's why i am giving her time.... I will never force her for anything. Not even a kiss...

I will tease her endlessly but never force her.

She, suddenly, took a few steps back. And I couldn't help but smile at her nervousness.
Prachi, avoiding eye-contact:"I will change, then we will go somewhere."
She turned around to go to the bathroom but I caught her hands.

I didn't want her to change.
"If you don't mind, don't change. You are looking mesmerizing in it."
She blushed hard hearing me.
"Only if you are comfortable..... otherwise you can change."

Prachi, smilingly and blushingly:"then let's go..."
I didn't pay attention earlier when she said we will go out. But now the headlights were on.
Where are we going?
If a crowded place, then obviously she is changing.

She noticed my confused looks:"take me to the ferris wheel: your favourite place."

Ohhh, there! There, i don't mind her wearing this night dress. It will only be us.
I nodded and held her hands. We went to the windows and she quickly pulled a hoodie with her. It gets cold there.

In the car, i was driving with one hand since the other one was busy holding Prachi's hand. Our entangled hands laid on her lap that was covered with the hoodie that she took.
She used it to cover her thighs.

She was excited but at the same time nervous. Why nervous, i had no idea.
"Why did you want to go there?"

Prachi:"i wanted to go there again, it was so beautiful."
I chuckled at her.

Prachi, excitedly:"and plus today is special and that place is special for you. That's why."
"And how do you intend to make my birthday special?"

She looked at me: I was just teasing her. It was already special right now.
Prachi, nervously:"you will see..."

"What are you planning, Chikchiki? I scrunched my face to show her my curiosity. She chuckled and replied:"you will see... and you will love it."

"That confident?"
She nodded happily.
