Gorou's only met you a few times, most notably at the battle against Kojou Sara, but he ended up really liking you. He admired your will and fighting style but he knows that your heart belongs to Kazuha and he'd never want to take away the one thing that really gives him a reason to smile.

He's a very calm person by nature. This is why you were so shocked to see Kazuha near enough ready to rampage at the oncoming wave of soldiers. And he did.
He will cut down as many as it takes to ensure your safety. He'll feel like he's a monster after it though, so you'll need to assure him you still love him and are not afraid of who he is.
