Me and the others arrived at school when Jamie came to a stop “I hate this school sometimes” she mumbled I looked to see a poster for junior prom. Jamie hates prom because 1. She never gets asked apart from one time which was a disaster “whatever I’m over it” she continues to her locker.
The others are giving me looks “what?” I ask “ask her” they all say in unison “what?!” Embry rolls her eyes “come on dude she wants to go but no one will ask her” he said “why don’t you ask her” I protested “we all have someone you don’t just ask her dude.”
I caught up to Jai she was in our first class. Maths. “Hey you okay?” she just nodded, she hates proms “okay I have to ask you something; Later” I add the last part when I see Mr. Lynch come into class.
We were sat at lunch I looked at the lads who were shifting awkwardly. “Err Jai can I talk to you for a sec” she nodded and followed me outside... we stopped and sat on a picic table “Jamie I’m just gonna say this so here it goes. I know you hate proms but would you go to prom with me “I looked up her eyes were wide “arm… I…I…I would love to go with you” she stutters. I break out into a big grin “great. Great” I take her hand and we go back inside.
*Jamie*
I must be dreaming he asked me to prom. JACOB BLACK ASKED ME TO PROM! I arrived back home where Sam and Jared were talking “hey Jamie how was school?” Sam asked I smiled “it was good Jake asked me to prom” they had the same reaction to me “really and you said…” he left for me to finish “yes I said yes” he came up and hugged me he knows I have wanted experience a good prom and now with Jacob I can.
Embry: yay another chapter whoop. Oh come here sexy
I am scooped up in Embrys arms
Jamie: enough you two I want to gag
I scoff
Me: like you are any better
Jake slaps me upside the head
