Chapter 16 - Eclipse

*Jamie*

-WEDDING DAY-

i was at eating breakfast with Leah, Sam, Emily, Rachel, Rebecca and Claire; me and Leah were talking make up ideas. Leah is my Maid of honour and the rest of the girls including Alice are my bridesmaid Claire is my flower girl. there was a knock on the door and Sam went to answer it.

Alice came skipping through the door "good morning bride to be” she chirped “hey Alice” i finished off my breakfast and went to get ready.

Alice did my make up while the girl did each others just for today Leah and Emily were going to get on which i was great full for “okay so what about hair?” she asked “Mainly down and curled” i told her and she went back to work.

I was about to but on my dress when there was a knock on the door and my mum and Seth entered “hey Jake wanted me to give this to you” he handed me an envelope and left “oh sweetie i can’t believe you’re growing up” she got all teary eyed and went to hug her but Alice stopped me “ah make up” mom wiping away her tears brought out a small box and opened it.

There were a pair of sapphire earrings “mom these are beautiful” i gushed “they were mine and now they’re yours” she handed them over to me “okay dress time”

*Jacob*

We were in the clearing everything set up and guests were arriving then taking their seats when a stench of bloodsuckers crossed my nose. I promised Jai that i would put up with them for today, anything for her

Claire came down first spreading petals along the aisle followed Emily, Rachel, Rebecca and Alice; Leah came down with a big smile on her face i haven’t seen her this happy in a long time it was good to see her like her old self again.

I was then time for Jamie’s entrance, everyone stood up as she made her way down i looked up and lost my self she was absolutely breathtaking (dress on the side) her hair was long bouncy curls with a tiara under her veil all of it was complemented by the drape of lilies bouquet. She stood across from me and smiled “close your mouth or you catch flies” she laughed.

Everyone Sat down “Dearly beloved we are gathered here today to witness the joining of Jamielynn and Jacob” he started on he started i was focused on Jamie it was just us two and i wasn’t complaining “i do” “i  do”  we beamed at each other “you may now kiss the bride” i lifted her veil and captured her lips while everyone clapped.

At the reception everyone was congratulating us then Bella came up with Edward “Congrats Jake” she hugged me and i hugged back “you too Jamie” she added “thank you Bella” she smiled sweetly as she slipped her arm around me.

It was now time for the speeches Leah, Dad, Seth and then Sam “my little sister was always one for simple and elegant and today is no different. When Jamie and Jacob said they were getting married i was happy, they are perfect for each other, age is just a number and i’m sure people would agree. So to Mr and Mrs Black”

“Mr and Mrs Black” everyone cheered

It was now my turn “before i get on with my speech i wanted to thank everybody for coming here todayand celebrating with us. I have known Jamie most of my life and she has always been there for me through thick and thin, At the risk of making her blush she’s my light when theres darkness so i propse a toast to my beautiful wife Jamie Black!”

It was later on and everyone was dancing, Jake and Jamie were having a good time dancing with the rest of the pack. “can i have everyone’s attention please” Embry calls out “the bride and groom will take their fist dance” the floor cleared as Jake and Jamie started dancing

We were now heading away for the honeymoon, i had changed into a dark purple dress with black heels and heart earrings with a black lace clutch. I walked up to my mom and Sam “have a great time dear” she hugged me tight “well be safe and don’t do anything i wouldn’t do. Jacob take good care of her” Sam hugged me and we made our way to the car.

“so telling me where we are going yet?” i brush a strand of hair out of my face “no but i will tell you your mym had a lot to do with it as a wedding present to us” he said with a smile. I kissed his cheek as we set off then waving bye to everybody
