Author's Note:

This story is based off a theory I made that's centered around Victor's dad. This story isn't really romance centered as much as the other TSS stories, but it does have some worldbuilding and slight romance, mainly between Mildred and Lionel.

This will be a more Victor-centric and his family story, than a Vanitor one. The tone is comedy/drama, as I don't see many TSS fanfiction centered on the bizarre antics within the show or non-romance stories.

Also, as you probably already know from the title, this book will be a crossover with Psychonauts.

I'm saying this because this story was originally a TSS fanfic instead of being a crossover. The crossover elements will appear in Chapter 6 if you're curious.

"More lemonade honey?" Victor looked up to face his mother Mildred. Mildred held a pitcher of sweet, cold lemonade with lemon slices cut in. "Sure." Victor replied, as his mother poured the lemonade into his glass. "Thanks mom." Victor said before taking a sip of lemonade. "So, Victor, you wanted to talk about something?" Mildred asked, putting down the pitcher on the table.

"Yeah, I wanted to talk about Dad." Victor replied. Mildred sighed "Honey, you sure you don't want to talk about something else?". Victor shook his head "Positive. I just want to know what Dad was like.". Mildred clicked her tongue "Well you already know the basics, your father and I used to be agents until he disappeared, got me pregnant with you, and I retired to raise you.".

"Yeah, I know that already.". Victor took another sip of lemonade. "I wanna know what sorts of missions you guys went on and get more of an idea what dad was like.". Mildred took a sip of her glass and smiled, "Well the missions your father and I went on were similar to you and Anita's missions; we fought Reptogators, Impostors, practically almost everything you kids did.".

Victor nodded as his mother continued "Lionel was a very competent agent. He was also very compassionate and empathetic as well, especially towards me.". Victor nodded "And eventually you and Dad hooked up?". "Correct. I remember our first date; we went to a pastry shop and ordered some cinnamon rolls." Mildred explained. "Your father was just loving them! It was like his stomach was a bottomless pit!" Mildred said with a giggle. "Heh, seems like I got my appetite from Dad, huh?" Victor said with a chuckle.

"Most certainly. Y'know, your father was quite the big eater. He could finish a whole three-layered cake almost under a minute!" Mildred said. Victor and Mildred then laughed at the thought of Lionel managing to down a whole cake in such a short amount of time. "I don't think I could do that!" Victor said between fits of laughter "That was a nice joke, Mom!".

"Oh, I wasn't joking." Mildred replied. Victor went dead silent "Y-You're serious?". Mildred nodded "The complete truth.". Victor sat there silently before breaking into another fit of laughter "You mean he actually did that!?". Mildred nodded with a smile. "Heh, Dad was pretty hardcore." Victor said.

"Well let's get back to that first date. Your father and I paid for all the pastries, and we went to my apartment to watch a movie." Mildred explained.

"We had many other dates as well. Some were in the park next to a lake in the moonlight. Some took place straight after we had a mission.".

"Sounds romantic. Did you guys ever had to hide your relationship?" Victor asked. "We couldn't act too much like the lovey-dovey lovebirds we were during working hours, but besides that, not really" Mildred replied. "Ah, I see." Victor replied before taking a sip of his lemonade.

"Do you do the same with Anita honey?" Mildred teased. "Moooom!" Victor groaned as his face turned tomato red, "I thought we were talking about Dad, not my romantic life.". "Oh, so you two are dating?" Mildred asked with a giggle. "No no no. Nope. Not at all. We're just friends." Victor replied. "What a shame, she's a really good girl for you." Mildred said.

"So, when did I get conceived?" Victor asked. "Your father got me pregnant with you, after our 14th date." Mildred explained.

"Did you have to hide that you were pregnant?" Victor asked. "Yeah, for the first few months we did. It was hard to keep a secret once you started kicking. You were quite the active baby" Mildred said before finishing her glass.

"Once I was five months pregnant, Lionel proposed to me, and we got married." Mildred continued. "During the wedding, we revealed that I was pregnant, and everyone was so happy for us. They said you were going to be a beautiful and intelligent baby." Mildred said.

"Awww, that's nice. I'm happy back then everyone had good hopes for me instead of scolding and insulting me" Victor replied.

"They just want to set you on the right path honey." Mildred reassured. "More like take all their frustrations onto me." Victor grumbled. Mildred placed her hand on her son's shoulder "Well don't worry about them. They're just sad about their own lives and don't know how to deal with it."

"Thanks mom." Victor replied. "No problem honey, now back to the story." Mildred began. "Me and Lionel bought this house once I was eight months pregnant and held the baby shower here. And then 2 months later on October 1st, you were born." Mildred explained.

"Was I a cute baby mom?" Victor teased. "Oh yes! You were an adorable little bundle of joy!" Mildred replied while lovingly squishing Victor's cheeks.

"Lionel was the one who gave you your name, he said it was short for "victorious" since he thought you would grow into a successful young man one day." Mildred said.

"That's so cool! And he was right! I am a successful, awesome secret agent!" Victor said. "I can't wait to brag about this to Anita! She's probably named after some random author who wrote a lame book." Victor boasted.

Mildred giggled "Be nice to Anita please. You wouldn't want to be teased over a name.". "Alright then, you can continue your story." Victor replied.

"A few days after you were born, me and Lionel had to go on a mission to fight the Wobbly Men, I recall it was when Changed Daily and Professor Professor babysat you." Mildred explained.

"I'm going to have to ask Changed Daily about that one." Victor thought, while his mother continued to tell her story.

"Your father and I had to travel into the Tenth Dimension to go fight them. I made it out alright, but your father...Well I suppose we don't need to bring that up..." Mildred said, ending in a deep breath.

"After that I was left to raise you on my own. It was hard, but I'm so proud of myself and you as well. I'm so proud of the brilliant young man you turned out to be." Mildred said.

Victor blushed "Thanks mom.". "No problem honey." Mildred and Victor then embraced in a warm hug.

"So, is there a specific reason you brought up your father today?" Mildred asked, once she and Victor let go of each other.

"Yes, I'm having a skill test later today and I just wanted some encouragement to help me get through the test." Victor answered.

"Oh, well okay then. I know you'll do great, like you always do." Mildred encouraged. "Thanks mom, gotta go now!" Victor said, before hopping on his sky bike and riding back to UZZ Headquarters.
