..That realization happened a week ago, I've been trying to figure out who "Ela" was in the novel lovely princess.. although I can't remember anything about her, was she just a side character? No, no, not even a side character.. an extra?

I sigh, 'Well, life here isn't that bad.'

It wasn't bad at all really. I was born as the first daughter of a wealthy Duke, everything was extravagant and lavish in the duchy.

'Everything really is extravagant..'

I thought to myself as I gazed around the luxurious room.

'It was only for a baby, I didn't understand why it needed to be so.. grand.'

'I guess this is how rich people live..'

I, who was born as "Ela Cecil Lariensla", is the first daughter of Duke and Duchess Lariensla.

According to the maids that take care of cleaning my room, the Dukedom Lariensla is in charge of circulating imported goods around Arlanta. Specifically, Obelian items. The Dukedom is also in charge of exporting Arlantian goods to other foreign Empires around the continent.

'No wonder they're so rich..'

I struggled to collect my thoughts after finding out that I was in the novel 'Lovely Princess' the maids thought I had an illness when I started crying..

'THAT NOVEL LOVELY PRINCESS!?'

'Reality slowly sunk in as I realised that me, A exchanged college student got sucked into a novel with little to no chance of return.'

'What's ''Ela's'' role in that novel?'

Did the novel ever mention Ela? How did I end up here? I want to go home! I stayed 3 years in college I need to go home! How do I get home? What If I can't go home? What about mom and dad!?'

"U-UWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

My body cried automatically, how am I supposed to live here!?

"Oh dear, my lady!"

A maid who was watching over Ela had heard the baby's cries. The maid was baffled by this, ever since birth their Lady Ela had never cried this much before. She was a well behaved baby in her early months.

One of the maids ran out to call the doctor in the duchy, Thus that's how Ela's desperate cries pushed the Duchy into chaos.

I grimaced as I recalled the whines I had made,

'Was that really me?'

I thought to myself, of course it was quite useless.. I was stuck here in a body of a baby! An extra! I don't think 'Ela' even had a official appearance..

'This world has magic.. maybe I can find a way to go back with it..'

I hear the overly familiar light footsteps approaching ever so slowly to my room once again, It was Duchess Veronica, or Madam Veronica as they call her, My Mother in this life.

The door swung open revealing a dressed up Madam Veronica, she looked like she just got back from another one of those social parties..

"Oh my dear Ela, How I've missed you."

She cooed at me, my "mom" in this life was a great mother. She always made time for me, despite having the option of leaving me in the care of the maids. The Lariensla Duchy seems far more different compared to those I have read in novels..

"Have you missed me too?"

She carefully picked me up as we sat on the chair she usually sits on, she would always read me various of stories, though I'm only interested in ones that tell me information about this world..

and so our daily afternoon routine continued peacefully.. as usual Duke Lariensla visited during the night. The Lariensla couple looks like they have a good relationship..

"I'll see you tomorrow dear."

She softly said in a hushed tone, which made me feel quite sleepy.

'I'll figure out how to get out of here when I'm older..'

and so, 5 years flew by.
