Qibli's heart had started to race, was it actually Winter, was his old friend really here within just feet away?
The icewing turned his head and well, dissipoinment struck Qibli. "Seriously!? I thought it was him! SHI-" Before Kinkajou could speak, Turtle instantly covered his wife's snout, "No! You don't get to say that! No!" Moon just started to chuckle, Kinajou moved away from Turtle, spitting out colors of blood red. "Why! Moon and Qibli get to say it!" "Because, after all these years, you're still a innocent child!" Moon chuckled to the pure red rainwing, "MOON! You're supposed to be on my side! And I am not a child!" Kinkajou scoffed to Moon. Moon looked over to Qibli who had his head down, looking upset. "Hey, Qibli, You okay?" Moon asked in a concerned tone. Qibli felt embrassed getting his hopes up like that. He looked up and put a smile on his face, "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm gonna go, see you guys soon?" Qibli asked as he left the booth. "Yeah, sure. Are you sure you're okay?" Turtle asked now. Qibli nodded and walked out.
Winter was exhuasted. He thought it maybe was a bad idea to kill a full grown Mudwing. But, what's done, is done. "My moons what did this moron eat!?" Winter growled as he dragged the body to lake with a cliff. "Crap! Did I bring the rope!? Winter you Idio- Oh found it. Damn." Winter wrapped a part of the rope to mudwing's neck and the other to a heavy rock he found. "There, now just gonna... Oops!" Winter nudged the rock off the cliff, the body quickly fell behind the rocks path and landed in the water, crashing like thunder. "Welp, another body and still not caught! HA! I'm getting the hang of this!" Winter searched through his cloak and couldn't find the thing he was looking for. "SHIT! NO, NO, NO! WHERE'S THE LOCKET!" Winter looked down to see the locket and quickly grabbed it and ran. He ran till he got to possibility, he cleaned the last bit of blood off him and calmly walked through the city. Waving and smiling to everyone, Winter noticed something or someone out of the corner of his eye and couldn't belive the stars. He was seeing Qibli, walking alone and looking glum. 𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘩𝘪? He thought to himself. "Screw it! Qibli!" Winter shouted to the sandwing, Qibli turned his head to Winter's direction, his face lit up so brightly.
Winter waved over to Qibli, but something was different, he felt happy, really happy. But not as a friend but something closer...
Was he falling for Qibli again...?
