This story is about my Oc Gila Monster pronounced Hee Lah monster. She is aNight/Sand hybrid. She has a rare ability it is animus magic or as she likes to call it. A terrible burden I've been carrying with me my whole life. Her mother's name is Magma, her father's name is Bloom, her sister's name is Desertglider, and her other sister's name is Mountain Lion (Lion for short) This story shows her life including the bad parts of it.

After the events of A Dash For Hope and Chains and Talons, Maple and Abyss are sent to Jade Mountain Academy so they can learn more about other tribes and learn to coexist better. But, when shadows from Maple's past appear after years of her living a new life, how will she be able to move on?
