It was around 3 in the morning when Levi awoke with a pillow pushed to his chest, arms around it and his knees pressing up to the back of it. This being howbhe normally woke up like, the only thing different was that the pressure and heat from another was pressed to his back. His arms also lay around the pillow, with his hands pressed up to the back of Levi's.
Levis body soon fell lax again when his still sleep fogged mind realized that the body that pressed against him belonged to Erwin.
"Mornin'"
Levi slightly jumped when this response was said by the deep gravelly voice who could only belong to the half asleep man behind him.
The smaller one tried to let out a sound to tell the other that he was awake, this only ended with nothing but his mouth left slightly agape.
"You're not gonna talk to me?"
Erwin's voice was laced with laughter as he saw how the boy could hardly talk. This wasn't the first time Erwin had seen the other struggle with talking as soon as he woke up, he never really liked to talk in the first place.
Instead of teasing him further he slowly started to rub up and down the boys arms and thighs. Nothing big just tiny strokes to tell the other that he was there whenever he was ready to start talking.
For Levi though instead of starting to talk he moved his hand down to put it over erwin's hand to stop him. Only to interlock their fingers together to keep his hand from moving any further up his thigh.
"Mhm? No?"
Levi shook his head earning a small hum from the other. His thumb involuntarily started to slowly rub the side of the smaller boys hand. Soon both were able to find themselves sound asleep again using the warmth of the other as the perfect blanket to shield them from the cold night.

Levi found himself awake again but at 8.. and without the warmth of the other to help him sleep.
When his mind was able to function right again and was able to see that something was missing. He was up and ready to go looking for where the taller was until the noise of water cut through his ears.
His entire body relaxed as he heard the water hit the bottom of the shower. This was until it abruptly stopped with the sound of a drawer opening following right after.
He was able to look up at the right moment to see the bathroom door open with a wet blonde head coming out with a single towel wrapped around his lower waist. Erwin didn't seem to noticed the obvious flushed figure in his bed. The was until he heard the sound of sheets moving right as he was about to drop his towel to get dressed.
"Levi? Oh shit I'm sorry!"
Levi shook his head "no your fine" his voice muffled from shoving a blanket into his face to give the other privacy.
