As the girls enter the room, all conversation stops completely. Everyone stares in awe at the trio who are now descending the stairs. Nat drags the girls over to the bar, where Loki, Rhodey, and Bucky have been catching up. "Eva, you look beautiful." Loki says as he pulls his sister into an embrace. Wanda clears her throat and gestures to herself and Nat. "And of course you both look wonderful as well. I see Eva has been using her tricks." Loki then says with a smirk, noticing how their hair styles are similar to how Eva wears her hair in the palace. "Would you ladies like something to drink?" Bucky says to them, prompting them all to nod with a smile.

It's not long before Thor makes his way over to the group who have been chatting for about 20 minutes. "Eva, what the hell are you wearing?" he bellows over her head. Eva immediately rolls her eyes and turns to face her oldest brother. "Clothes, brother. I'm wearing clothes." She retorts, prompting the group behind her to laugh. Thor glares at them quickly, making them stop. "You know what I meant." He grunts, once again looking down at his sister. "Brother, relax. She's allowed to follow Midgardian culture. Honestly, I think it suits her." Loki buts in before Eva can start an argument in front of everybody. "Thank you, Loki." Eva says proudly. "Thor let's just enjoy the party. You can lecture me tomorrow, ok?" she then says as she turn back to face him. "Fine." Thor says in defeat before walking back over to where Steve and Tony are standing.

About an hour later, Loki, Eva and Tony are all sat on one of the sofas chatting. "So, Eva, the girls told me about your powers. They're pretty cool." Tony says as he takes a sip of his whiskey. "Oh, thanks." Eva replies shyly. "Do you think you could show me some? Like right now?" he then says. "Uhm, sure. What do wanna see?" Eva says nervously. "Anything you're comfortable with." Tony says, remembering his chat with Loki about easing Eva into showing off her abilities. "Ok, uhm... Oh! I know." Eva says as an idea pops into her mind.

She stands from the sofa and raises her arms. The room is suddenly covered in beautiful flowers. They are hanging from the ceiling on vines, wrapped around the handrail of the stairs, and every vase is filled to the brim. Everyone looks around in awe before looking to where they could have come from. Everyone notices Eva with her hands in the air as she finishes her creation. The room suddenly fills with applause, making the girl drop her hands in shock. Her cheeks suddenly flood with blush as she notices all eyes are on her.

"Wow, Eva. The room looks beautiful. Thank you for sharing that with us." Tony says as she sits back down. "Do you want to see something really funny?" Eva whispers with a smirk. "Always." Tony replies. "Eva, remember what happened last time. Be careful." Loki warns. He doubts anyone would want Thor to erupt in a tantrum, though it will be funny to see his reaction. Eva nods before discreetly waving her hands in Thor's direction. Thor's hair is suddenly covered in flowers in the shape of a very large beehive. All of the avengers burst out laughing as Thor screams in frustration. "Eva! Take them out." Thor yells across the room, prompting his baby sister to wave her hands once more, making the flowers disappear. "Well, that makes clearing up a lot easier." Tony jokes as he stands to get a new drink from the bar.

"So, your first Midgardian party. How are you finding it?" Loki says to his sister now that they are alone. "It's a lot of fun, although it's awfully quiet. Do they not have music on Earth?" Eva replies, making her brother laugh. "Not everyone can have a 12-piece orchestra at every party." Loki says with a smirk. "I guess not." Eva laughs in reply.

A while later, it's just the avengers left at the party. They are all sat around on the sofas and joking around about Thor's hammer. "Oh come on, it's all a trick." Says the man who Eva understands to be called Clint. "Give it a try, then." Thor teases with a smirk. A lot of people want to try and 'cheat the magic'. First is Clint, then Tony, Then Bruce, then Tony again, and then Steve. Eva and Loki share a look when the hammer wobbles slightly but choose to ignore it for now. Thor laughs and picks up the hammer with ease. "I assure you, it's no trick. You're all just not worthy." He then says, making everyone roll their eyes.

Just then, everyone's attention is pulled from the conversation by a loud screeching sound. They look to the door of the room where an old rusty robot is hobbling through. "No, of course you're not worthy." A deep voice says. "You're all killers." It then says. Everyone stands nervously, never taking their eyes off the robot. "Jarvis? What's going on?" Tony says, waiting for his AI to respond. "Sorry I missed the party, I was asleep. There was a terrible noise, and I was tangled in- in- string." The robot then says, swaying from side to side as it struggles to compose itself. "I had to kill the other guy. He was a good guy." It then says. "You killed someone?" Steve says, his anger clearly growing. "It wouldn't have been my first call. But, when you're in the real world you're faced with ugly choices." The robot replies. "Who sent you?" Thor says strongly, pulling Eva behind him. "I'm on a mission. A mission set by your very own leader." The robot says, making everyone look towards Tony. "What mission?" Natasha says as she discreetly readies her gun. "Peace in our time." The robot says, mixed with a voice recording of Tony.

Everyone jumps into action when more robots crash through the wall and fly around the room. Steve kicks the coffee table into two of them but it doesn't slow them down. Eva quickly discards her jacket and runs across the room. Her hands start glowing with flames. She starts to throw fire balls at one of the robots, causing it to fly straight for her. Without thinking, she releases her wings and flies above the robot, causing it to crash into pieces as it hits the wall.

Before she can think, another robot flies up to her and hits her hard in the face. It circles round and starts flying towards her. She uses her ice powers to freeze its limbs before flying towards it and kicking it apart. She then looks down towards the rest of the fight, noticing that Bucky is left with the last robot. She flies down to his aid, helping to rip it apart. Two more robots then appear with a glowing stick and fly through the windows, causing them to smash.

"That was dramatic." The first robot exclaims. "You're so hell-bent on saving humanity but how can it be saved when it can't evolve? There only one path to peace..." it then says, looking towards the group. "The Avenger's extinction." It says before being blown apart by Thor's hammer.

Everyone stands in silence as they come to terms with what just happened. The room is an absolute mess. Not realising her wings are still out, Eva begins to pick up pieces of furniture. Everyone stares in shock as they realise what she did. Sensing everyone's eyes on her, Eva stares back with a confused look. "What?" she says sheepishly, not liking the intense amount of attention she is receiving. "You have wings." Wanda says, her voice wavering from the shock. Eva's wings immediately flash to purple, white and dark green as she remembers what happened. She looks towards Loki as tears start to form in her eyes.

"I, uhm..." she whispers out as her wings start to glow whiter. "I'm sorry." She says before running out of the room, quickly followed by Loki. All the team can do is look to Thor for answers. He knows their eyes are on him, but he refuses to return the stares. He abruptly leaves the room in search of his siblings, leaving the team in silence. None of them have any idea what just happened but they all hope the trio can figure it out.
