"Is she always like that?"

My elbows resting above the table, me and Timothee were talking about the Steinfeld girl and all he does i laugh how i talk about her.

"I knew she broke my camera, she made me sign an NDA who does she think am I? I am not gonna run over the media and tell people she broke my camera as if it's going to fix it."

I rolled my eyes, he took my hand and told me calm down for a moment.

"She's probably tired from work, i am sorry you have to be introduced to her that way."

"And by the way, your papers are processing and you'll be set in the next 2-3 days."

He raised his glass for me to clink, i stared in the empty hallway before taking a swig.

Still wondering how she has to point out my dirty sneakers and how my clothes looked, instead of answering my question.

"No, i don't care and you signed papers regarding that matter already."

She opened the driver's door, but i took her arm and forced her to face me.

"Having you to apologize isn't part of what i signed for."

She shake my hand away.

"I paid for what i owe, and besides it looked like you needed the money more than my apology."

I stood silent as she entered her car, drove away while i remained speechless in the side of the road.

"Did you brought a new camera though?"

I was back in reality when the bottom of his glass hit the marbled island.

"No, i didn't took clients but i had the rest of the needed photos printed out for those last ones."

"Aren't you going to give me an overview of who am I working for or what do I do?"

Instead of answering me, he just shrugged off and started walking into one of the doors across the hallway and shut it.

"the hell..."

I stood alone in the kitchen island, i took another bottle and poured it into my glass.

-

I stood in front of the vanity mirror while my hair is wrapped around a shirt, i picked up the blower from my right side.

"Are you going to take longer?"

Timothee knocked on my door, i stopped using the blower to hear him clearly.

"Just a little more!"

I shouted at him before hurrying up from my seat, i picked up my clothes and started wearing them one by one while holding the blower on my other hand.

Finally, i was ready and opened the door. He was leaning against the wall with his arms across his chest, a cigarette in between his lips as he was startled by my sudden presence.

"Thought i had to wait another hour.."

He shook his head before removing his cigarette off his lips, offering it to me, i took it and took a few inhales and exhales before handing it back to him.

"Have you ever dated a woman before?"

He seemed surprised by my question, his green eyes sparkled as the sun hits them.

"I am too busy to date one, and my time is gold Charlie."

I nodded and mouthed him 'okay'.

The drive was quiet but not awkward, i have my personal space at the back of the car as i watch the buildings from the tinted window.
