My eyes scanned through the menu, meanwhile my hands are busy gripping my dress down my knees. I've never been in a place like this before and im in the most uncomfortable dress right now I could barely enjoy the classy music being played by a band. All I can do is to watch Timothee pick our orders, I just agreed to what he picked for me and focused on pulling my dress even harder.

"do you wanna eat something else?"

He raised his eyebrows at me.

"no..I am fine"

I told him, while I fixed my back posture. I couldn't bear to complain more when it comes to him.

"Are you sure?"

I gave him a nod, his green eyes looking back through the menu one more time before putting it aside.

"I heard you got drunk, how are you feeling?"

"good."

"you haven't answered my calls or my messages this morning, what happened?"

He looked concerned, I can't just extend my hand and tell him that Hailee locked my phone with her the entire day that's why i couldn't respond to his calls and messages.

I didn't answer him but luckily our food was on the way, we cleared out our table as the waiter placed our orders in front of us. I couldn't refuse to his offer since he was the one who picked me up from Hailee's set. He cut a few more hours of my job to have dinner with him.

"Are you adjusting to the new environment?"

He started cutting the large piece of meat on his plate into small pieces, his hands skillfully cut them effortlessly before switching his plate to mine.

"I knew you wouldn't eat that, here."

I gave him a smile before shoving a piece of meat into my mouth, I couldn't explain the feeling I had towards Timothee and the ones I had when I am with Hailee. Something about him just makes me feel like home in a non-romantic way but I could feel like that feeling is something I can still extend if I did give him the chance a few years back.

"Is there something on my face?"

He stared at me, he took the napkin from his lap and wiped his mouth.

"nothing, you look good maybe it's distracting that way."

I gave him a cheeky smile, his response was a manly chuckle that I could guarantee any woman my age would find attractive. His hair just sits perfectly on the top of his head while a strand falls over his face, just like Zayn Malik.

"is it okay with you if I ask for dinners more often? You know just a way from making up from all the failed dates I asked you back in college."

His hands on the top of the table, his fingers clasped as his green eyes stared at me with adoration. The same eyes that used to look at me never changed.

My hand reached for his, laying them down the table as I intertwined them with mine.

"thank you always, Timmy."

I was startled when fireworks started going off, the view was wonderful from above especially the walls are made up of glass and the city lights below just made everything felt like what life should be. It's beautiful.

I ended up staying in Timothee's till my papers are finalized to this day, I wasn't asked to come to work either and I am glad I am back even just for a day. I had this huge bed in the guest room all by myself again and I wouldn't have to worry about waking up early just for today. I didn't know her schedule would be my schedule too and I don't know how she does it but I guess that's why she was in that position.
