Chapter 4

Chapter 4:

--Melanie's POV--

Niall and Zayn had been in the kitchen for a while now. What were they doing in there? The others were just talking. Amy got along with the guys really qiuckly. I bet she would regret starting dating that Logan guy, now that she've met One Direction haha!

"What are they doing in there? I'm going to scare them..." I said with a mischievous smile. I walked slowly towards the door to the kitchen, when it suddenly opened, revealing Zayn and Niall. I was the one getting scared and everybody just laughed at me. Including Zayn and Niall, eventhough I did suprise them a bit..

We all sat down again and suddenly Niall looked at me.

"So... How-.. How's it going wi- with George? Does he still live in Mullingar or... I mean.. You moved here and all..." He said, sounding pretty nervous.

"Uhm... Great! Yeah everythings great, we... Uhm he..." I didn't know what to say. I didn't know anything about where George was, I didn't want to either, but I didn't want Niall to know what happened between George and me... Luckily Amy saved my life!

"Mel! Can I talk with with you for a moment?" She looked at me with a serious expression. I followed her to the kitchen. "George? Wasn't he the one who cheated on you?"

"Yes..." I sighed. "But Niall doesn't know that... And I don't want him to know." I looked seriously at her.

"So you're just going to lie to him? What are you going to say? That he lives with you, but is visiting his parents in Mullingar at the moment?"

"Yes! Thanks Amy, that's perfect!!" I hugged her. I would've never come up with that myself.

"I didn't..! It was ironic! You weren't supposed to actually use it!" She says, but I ignored her, going back to the living room.

"So.. George?" Niall was looking at me.

"Well, he's visiting his parents in Mullingar at the moment, but we share an appartment." I smiled when Amy came back in. She looked furious.

--Niall's POV--

After some hours of talking, Melanie's stomach began making sounds. Everybody looked at her, but I was the one breaking the silence.

"I'm hungry too, let's get something to eat!"

We went to Nando's and we did everything not to get noticed. It would be nice to just get around without all the paps. Especially since we had Mel and Amy with us. If we were seen with them, it wouldn't take long before the dating rumours started. Not that I minded a rumour of me dating Melanie... Niall, snap out of it!

Sadly we were spotted. We hurried back to my house, but of course they got some photos. We were actually curious to what they would be writing about us, so we all looked at our phones, I found my laptop and we waited.

After some time everybody on twitter was going crazy. Noting about me and Mel, but me and Amy. I was so confused, but then Mel showed us a photo were it actually would look like me and Amy were dating, if you didn't know better.

Then Amy's phone began ringing. She looked like she had seen a ghost.

"It's Logan..." She said, looking at Mel. Who was Logan? Anyway, she picked it up and went to the kitchen. She was talking rather loudly, I mean we could here her. Not what she was saying, but she was deffinately not in a good mood.

"Who's Logan?" Liam asked Mel, who was sitting on the back of the sofa.

"A guy she began dating a few weeks ago... He's a great guy, but he has a hell of a temper..." She looked worried at the door to the kitchen. Then everything became quiet. Amy had stopped talking, so Mel walked to the kitchen.

I don't know what happened in there, but when they both came out of there, Amy had been crying.

"It's time we go... It was great hanging out with you guys." Mel smiled and looked at all of us, but stopped at me. "I really missed you.. See ya'll!"

And with that, they walked out of the door...

"I'm hungry..."

"Louis, we don't need another Niall." Liam said with a smile on his face. Louis began laghing eventhough it was aimed for him. It was around 7pm and we hadn't had any proper food yet. Yes, we went to Nando's, but we didn't get any food because of the paps...

"How about Nando's?" I suggested. "Again?"

Liam, Harry and Zayn said they would just eat some pizza from the freezer, but I forced Louis with me. I wanted to go to Nando's! And he was coming with me, if he wanted to or not... There weren't many people, which was good for us so we could get in and out in peace. I don't mind the fans, actually I love them. But it is nice with some privacy sometimes... Besides, me and Louis were starving so this had to go fast!

We had ordered our food and fund a table to sit at, when I saw a familiar face. It was George! But what was he doing here? Melanie said he was in Mullingar! I was still shocked when I noticed he was on his way over here. I looked over at Louis just as he passed by, hoping he wouldn't recognise me. Sadly...

"Niall? Niall Horan, it is you! Wow it's been forever, lad!" He looked at me like I was an old friend he hadn't seen in a long time. But I was not his friend, nor have I ever been. He never seemed to like me anyways. But I was kind of curious of why he was in London, when Mel told me otherwise.

"George..." I looked at Louis whos eyes suddenly grew. Now he knew who we were dealing with... Melanie's boyfriend.

"Can I sit down?" Without even awaiting my answer he sat down beside me. "Louis, right?" He said looking at Louis. Of course! Now I got it. He knew I was in One Direction. He knew I was world famous, so he wanted to befriend me. What did Melanie see in this guy!?!

"It's weird though, George..." I said looking at him. Time to interrogate! "Melanie said you were in Mullingar visiting your parents. Why are you here in London?"

"Melanie? Why would she say that? She have been avoiding me ever since we broke up, only a few months after you left." He just sat there with a smirk on his face... Wait... What did he just say???

Louis and I were looking at him with big eyes. There were total silence before George spoke. "What have she told you?"

I di not tell him what Melanie had said, I just shaked my head in a no and asked him to go. I did not want to be rude, but our food had arrived... And he had to go anyway, so no harm there! But why would Melanie lie about her and George... And why did they break up?

--Melanie's POV--

Amy and I went back to my place. Logan had been furious... She did not tell me why, but I could see she felt guilty... No matter what, she should not have to. I am sure she did nothing wrong, it was just Logan overreacting like always. We had been watching a movie, Ten Inch Hero, just to cheer up. But when Boaz had just told them his real name, my phone rang. I looked at the caller ID, but it did not recognise the number. I left the room and picked it up anyway.

"This is Melanie, who am I speaking with?" I tried to sound polite, but regretted it just as it got out of my mouth. It sounded ridiculous! Especially in my weird voice. While in my own thoughts a familiar voice spoke.

"Melanie? It's George."

I am SO SORRY that it took me so long time to publish this! I knew what I wanted to happen, but I just did not know how to get there... I was kinda stuck hehe..! ^^'
