Filler Chap. (19)

It had been a few days since what happened... I've been staying with Moxxie and Millie since they thought it would be best I don't see Blitzo for a bit.

I agreed.

I was too heartbroken to see him, I haven't even gone to work in awhile. Moxxie have told me that Blitzo has been asking about me, and when he can see me again. I just walked back to the guest room they had that I could use for now. I pretended I didn't care that he missed me... Why should I care? Why do I care? He hurt me...

I grabbed my earbuds and put them in, and started to play 'Washing Machine Heart' I curled into a ball and pulled my knees close to my chest. I then felt hot tears go down my face, as I started to cry uncontrollably.

Did he really love me? Or was I just another fool, to be played.. Why him? Why not me?

Who am I kidding? Of course he didn't love me, I'm such an idiot to think someone would love me for me.. And not want me to be different, like.. Her.. I let out a shaky sigh, I let my eyes close slowly. I didn't want to be... I didn't want to be awake right now–

A knock at the door makes me jolt up, and quickly wipe my eyes. I hop up and go and swing open the door to see it was Moxxie.

"Sorry to disturb you, Y/N, but the Prince wants you to visit him.." Moxxie tells me, I just let out a sigh "What could he possibly want from me? He won.. Didn't he?" I said, but said the second part quietly, Moxxie just stared at me with concern. "We have no clue, but it's best you go see him for your safety.." Millie told me, "We will be waiting outside for you when you get there.." Moxxie reassured me, patting my back. Letting out another sigh, I agreed.

I went back into my room, and decided to dress a little more nicely than I do usually. Not to impress, but to at least be a little respectful. After I was done, I walked out and we were off to see Stolas.

Me and the two stood outside of the mansion, Millie gave me a nervous thumbs up to wish me luck, while Moxxie looked really nervous. "I'll be fine you two, I promise.." I reassured them, "I'm just worried that he may harm you–" Moxxie told me, but I cut him off "He has no reason to.." I said, I then turned and started to walk towards the door.

Once I made it to the doors, I slowly raised my hand and knocked on the door a few times. It took a little bit, before one of his little imp servants came to the door, "I'm assuming you're Y/N?" they asked, I just nodded, "Right this way." I then followed the little imp to what looked like a living room. I looked around, until my eyes landed on Stolas who was sitting on the couch.

I then cleared my throat to let him know I was here, Stolas snapped his attention to me. "Ah, Y/N, I'm so happy you could make it–" he started, "What do you want 'Owl Man'." I said blankly, "Well.. I.. I.. Look.. I wanted to start over, I don't want to be someone you heavily dislike, I also just want to apologize for how I acted towards you." Stolas confessed, I stared at him surprised, "You what–" I said, "I know, it's hard to believe, but.. That night when I seen how hurt you were because of Blitzo.. It opened my eyes.." Stolas explained, I nodded to him, "I decided I'm not going to get in the way of you and Blitzo.." he finished, my eyes widened.

Him? Not going after Blitzo? Am I going crazy?

"I've seen the way he looks at you.. The way he always seemed so happy to be around you.. The way.. He could never be like that with me." Stolas explained some more, I nodded, "I care about Blitzo's happiness more than anything, and if he's the most happiest with you.. Than who am I to stand in the way of that?" he finished, I stared at him quietly, before I spoke "That's sweet of you.. But.. I just.. Can't believe he loves me right now.. After, that." Stolas frowned, "I understand, dear, but I mean it when I say.. He loves you." Stolas reassured, I just shook my head and looked down at the floor, "I've heard from one of the small ones that you haven't been going to work lately.. Is it because of Blitzo?" he asked, I just nodded, "Hm.. I see, how about you work for me until you are ready to see him again?" he suggests with a small smile, "Really..?" I asked in disbelief, "Of course, it's the least I can do for what I've done to you.." Stolas tells me, I smile a bit and hug him tightly. "Thank you so much..." I told him, Stolas was surprised at first, but hugged back. "You're very welcome, Y/N.."

I had finished talking to Stolas, and he told me I could start tomorrow if I was able. I walked out of the mansion in a bit of a better mood, that Millie and Moxxie took notice of. "Well, what happened in there?" Millie asked me, "Well.. Stolas apologized to me about everything he's done.. And he is also letting me work for him, until I can bare to see him again." I explained to her, "That is great news, Y/N." Moxxie told me with a smile.
