Late one night, Tommy and Astella were sitting in their bedroom drinking whiskey as Astella was looking through Angela's file from the Parish, "Where's Pol?" Tommy asked.
"At her home with Michael. Think she's planning on staying there for good," Astella said.
"Good," Astella looked at him as he nodded, "She needs peace," Tommy said.
"With you running her around in circles," She looked back at the file, "Of course, she does," Tommy looked at her in slight surprise, "Where the hell is Isaiah with Angela?" Astella asked as she closed the file and walked over to the window to try and see them.
"Would you quit worrying?" Tommy asked.
"No," Astella said.
"We're going to May's tomorrow, it's a long drive," Tommy said.
"We'll switch to tea," Astella told him.
"Not what I was getting at, sweetheart," Tommy walked over to her and held her from behind as they watched Isaiah and Angela walking closer to the house, "See? There she is... Now... Bed, we have a long day tomorrow," Tommy said.
"...Fine," Astella said and walked back over to the bed and got under the covers.
The next day, at May's estate, May was leading Tommy and Astella towards the stables to check on the horse, "Mick, this is Thomas and Astella Shelby. They've come to check up on their filly," May said.
Tommy and Astella stood together and looked at Mick whose eyes were on Tommy, "Yes. I've heard about them," Micky said.
"Micky is the best horseman in England," May said.
Astella and Tommy nodded as they glanced at each other, Astella looked slightly amused as she linked her arm with Tommy's, resting her head on his shoulder, "He likes to waste money, I know that. According to the reports we've been given, you're spending two pounds a month on worming powder," Tommy said.
"What? You want a horse with worms?" Micky asked.
"Horses get worms from the water trough. Put goldfish in them, they eat the worm eggs," Astella said.
"Goldfish?" Astella and Tommy nodded, "It'll be a Gypsy thing, is it?" Micky questioned.
"You don't need to be a Gypsy to know that, if you claim to be a horseman, you should know all the ways to keep the horse healthy," Astella pointed out.
"It's an accounting thing as well. Goldfish cost a penny each," Tommy said.
"Or you can win them at the fair," Micky said.
"Or you could do as the owners suggest," Astella countered.
Micky glared at Astella, "If you want, I'll dispense with the vet altogether," He started to leave, "Excuse me," Micky said and left.
