"I never thought in a million years that the man i was working with would eventually become my husband." I said."I never thought when the guys told me you were going to work with me that you would become my wife." He smiled.
It was true. I didn't know that he would be my husband. I knew that he might be my boyfriend, but i didn't know i was going to marry him. I was all in. I totally wanted to spend the rest of my life with him.
I held his face and kissed him softly, waiting to build up a better kiss for when we were actually up there, getting married.
We had everybody we loved to that wedding. My parents, his mom, my brother, and the whole Slipknot band. James didn't have a dad with him growing up and had no siblings, the only people from his side was his mom and Slipknot basically. I didn't want James to feel like he wasn't important and he was just the side part of the wedding because only his mom came, but he reassured me many times before we did this that he was fine with it. I still felt a little guilty.
James and I changed into our wedding fits. But when James walked out in his tuxedo, i almost blacked out.
"Holy shit." I said as he walked out.
He laughed and he put his hands on my waist.
"You look equally as good as me, if not better. If you saw yourself through my eyes you would be shocked." He said.
That compliment nearly made me tear up. He was so sweet to me. I wanted to get married right then, even though we were close. I put my hand on his shoulder and slid down to his chest.
"Im so nervous baby." I said.
"No need, just act like its just us." He reassured me.
Before i knew it. James was walking me down the isle. My dad sitting there, smiling.
My dad has always been supportive of me and James. My dad loved James and couldn't wait for us to get married.
We got up in front of everybody and he took my hands.
"Do you take this woman to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do." James said.
"Do you take this man to be your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do." I said.
I got James a black ring with strip of wood down the middle, i knew he would love it. It was one of the options i gave him before buying it. I tried my best to hide it from him, since my ring was a surprise.
He gave me my ring and i gave him his ring. I knew he loved it. He couldn't stop looking at it. I even got the phrase "i love you, James." Engraved inside of the ring.
Mine was beautiful. It was a silver ring with a small diamond in it. I loved it. We put our rings on.
"You may kiss the bride."
We kissed and everybody started cheering. It was definitely one of the best nights I've had in a long time.
I held his face and smiled. We stood there, holding each other. I loved it.
After the celebration, we went home and took a picture of us holding hands with our rings on.
"Thank you for sticking with me this long." James said.
"Your welcome, it would be impossible to leave a man like you." I said, smiling.
James sat down on the couch and i strattled his lap and held his face, so his green eyes were looking up in mine.
"I love you, husband." I smiled.
"I love you, wife." He laughed as he kissed me.
I took his shirt off, placing my hand on his chest, sliding down to his six pack and leaving it there.
We sat there looking at each other briefly, before James reaches over and kisses me, ending the silence between us.
I got off of his lap and laid down on the couch, James placed his body in between my legs, his head across from mine. I brushed his hair away from his face and looked at him.
"You have the nicest green eyes." I told him.
"And you have the nicest personality." He said, resting his head on my shoulder.
"You're so sweet its not even funny." I said.
I played with his hair gently and we soon fell asleep on each other.
The Next Morning
We woke up in the morning the same position we were in when we fell asleep. Before we got up, i wrapped my arms around James' neck and held him to my chest and kissed him. We got up together and started talking while James made coffee.
"What do we do today." James asked.
"No idea." I said.
We both agreed that we didn't want to be stuck at the house all day. So we got the in the car and started driving.
I held James' hand and looked at his ring.
"I think that ring looks amazing on you." I said.
"You couldn't have picked a better one." He said smiling.
I looked at him and kissed him.
"I love you so much and I hope you feel the same." I said.
"Of course i feel the same way, except i love you more." He smirked.
"No, i do." I laughed.
"No.. i do." He said
That conversation went on for an hour but i still love him more.
We drove home and laid on the couch together until we fell asleep.
