"Walk to daddy!" I said to Carter.

"You got it." James said.

He took a big step and fell over, James catching him instantaneously and sitting him down on his lap for a second, lifting him up to his feet to try again.

"You can do it." James said, kissing Carter's head. Hovering his hands over his sides.

He fell again, but this time James scooped him up and got up, sitting Carter down on his shoulders.

"Its nap time for you mister." James said.

James walked upstairs and put him to sleep.

James was so good with our son. He always took time to play with him, and Carter was obsessed with him. Even his very first word was "daddy." But one thing worried me, how was i supposed to tell my son his dad was one of the guitarists of Slipknot? How would he react to James' mask? A lot of things worried me. Before i knew it, James walked downstairs.

"Hey James, i have a question." I asked.

"Hm?" He said.

"When do we show Carter the mask." I asked.

"Show is tonight, we can "show" him tonight i guess."

Three Hours Later

Touring with a baby is hard. But James was a huge help. We showed Carter to the band members and they all loved him. Corey especially. We got to the venue the guys were preforming at and walked to James' dressing room.

James grabbed Carter and held him on his hip and walking with him. Carter rested his head on James' shoulder, and it melted my heart.

"I guess you were meant to be." Joey said.

"I told you." I said smiling.

James handed Carter to me and i held him on my hip and lead him to the backstage rehearsal room. I sat down and put Carter on my lap. My heart started racing. I was nervous. I didn't want Carter to be afraid of his own father. But then, James walks out.

"Mommy!" Carter said, pointing to James and laughing.

"Who is that?" I said in a high pitched voice.

James crouched down to Carters level and said something.

"Daddy!" He said.

James grabbed him and held him tight.
