"Hey Kitty." Ladybug sits down next to the black cat like hero as she looks down from the top of the Effiel tower. Chat had suggested they meet there tonight instead of their normal location due to something that came up. It confused ladybug, but she applied and was happy to listen to the request. Ladybug notices a small box in the blondes hands, making her curious.
"What's that you got there?" Ladybug leans on his shoulder, smiling at the boy. She grew more fond of him since her love with Adrien had faded, but Chat stopped being flirty after they became of age. It was like they had switched, not as partners but as people. Ladybug was dying to know who Chat was, but it was to big of a risk since shadow moth was still at large after all these years.
"It's for you M'Lady. I wanted to give you a gift because I realized I don't know when your birthday is. I know I know, I can't know because of our identities, but I wanted to give you this as a present." He hands her the small box that is covered in a silk like texture. She smiles, she doesn't care about the gift much, but the idea of chat caring enough about her as a person made her happy.
She opens it to reveal a necklace with a ladybug in the middle. It was a loose metal that dangled on her chest as she wore it now. The ladybug had a green paw drawn on the back of it with the initials C.N on the back. She held it close to her heart and smiled over to her partner.
"Thank you kitty, it's an amazing gift from an amazing partner." She lays against his shoulder once more, looking down to the peaceful city of Paris. It was nice and calm most nights since shadowmoth chose the day time to attack.
"I wish it was always like this you know. Quiet, just the two of us. I know you hate my flirting but I still love you ladybug, I'm willing to wait as long as you need me to, but I want to ask you something in return." Ladybug lifts herself off him again to meet his eyes. He gives her a slight grin in reassurance.
"What would that be?" She asked, curious about what he might say.
"Is it bad if I love more than one person?" He moves he glance away from ladybug, hoping she wouldn't get mad at him for the question he thought was ridiculous.
"Of course not Chat, you deserve someone outside of your hero life, someone to make you forget sometimes. I want you to find someone that makes you happy like you make me happy. You are an amazing partner Chat Noir, and you deserve to have that at least. Don't let me hold you back from being happy a a civilian." Ladybug puts a reassuring hand on his shoulder, rubbing her finger back and forth to comfort him. She would definitely be sad to see him date someone else, maybe a little jealous, but she knew they couldn't be together. So holding him back would only be selfish.
"Thank you M'Lady. There's this one girl who I was friends with a little while back that recently came back into my life and I think I want to see if anything works out between us. She's an amazing girl and reminds me of you. Brave, outgoing, smart and gets along with everyone." He meets ladybug's eyes again, giving a slight grin to the girl as he explains.
"She sounds amazing Chat, you should tell her how you feel. Maybe she would give a good guy like you a chance." Ladybug nudges him playfully and smiles. She could tell he was confused but she wanted him to feel like she was a full supporter, she couldn't let him know she was slightly jealous. It would make him feel guilty, she knew it would.
"Thank you for understanding M'Lady. I just wanted to make sure it wasn't bad I felt this way. I felt like it was wrong to like more than one person." Chat sighed as if a large burden had just been lifting off of him.
"Good luck with that girl Chat, but I have to head off. I have some plans tomorrow so I won't be able to take patrol, if you feel like you need a break tomorrow let me know. Rena furtive is willing to fill in if needed, so is carapace." Ladybug stands, ready to leap away from the tower as she speaks.
"Thanks again ladybug, I'll message you tomorrow afternoon if there isn't any akumatizations." Chat noir nods at the girl before she leaps away, swinging into the distance. Chat stands up, having an idea for a detour before heading home.

"That's really sweet of you Marinette. I think Chat Noir does need some time to live a little. He's been so focused on his love for you, that he's never had a real girlfriend. Maybe this will be your chance to find someone new to!" Tikki explains to the girl who is now sitting up in her bed, twirling the ladybug pendant in her fingers. She loved the necklace Chat had given her.
"I'm sure this mess with clean itself one day Tikki, but right now I think it's best I let love come to me, besides, as the guardian I have more responsibilities than ever. Thankfully Alya promises to watch over the miracle box when I'm away or when there is an Akuma." Marinette looks over to the fake large makeup kit that is hiding the miracle box. She created it herself a couple years ago when she became guardian. She's upgraded it slightly when things started to get old, but its worked the whole time.
A sudden nock on her balcony window causes Marinette to shoot up in surprise. Tikki bolts into Marinette's bag as the girl turns to see the corporate. By her window stands a shivering Chat Noir. She tucks the necklace in her shirt and opens the door for him, smiling at his accompany.
"Why hello Chaton. Aren't you supposed to be on patrol with ladybug?" Marinette smiles, putting her hands on her hips with a sassy motion.
"Ladybug and I are taking the night off and I thought I'd drop by and say hello." Chat Noir smiles, and looks around the room that is filled with boxes. Marinette realizes she never explained to Chat that she was moving, how did he know where she was? Did he follow ladybug here?
"So stalking me now? I don't remember telling you where my new apartment was." Marinette crosses her arms, giving him a weird face as his eyes light up. He realized that he had forgotten that only his civilian form knew she lived her.
"Oh uh, actually I saw that you posted a picture with your friends outside and knew it looked familiar to a place I knew. So I thought I'd drop by and say hello." Chat nervously rubs the back of his neck, trying to come up with an excuse for his mistake.
"Well I'm glad you did, I can barley sleep after moving. Being home sick sucks when you first leave. Don't get me wrong I love it here with Alya and Nino, but it feels off." Marinette sits down onto her mattress and she explains to the hero. Chat follows beside her and sits down on the bed to. Marinette glances over and blushes without him noticing.
"You've come a long way princess since we first met. You've grown up and are becoming more independent. You should be proud of yourself. I know I'm at least proud of you." Chat leans on her shoulder now, his warm body shocks her at first, filling her face with blush. He let out a sigh and lay there for a moment. He didn't want to move, he wanted to stay with Marinette. Where he desired was with Marinette.
"I think we both have come a long way Chat. You've become one of my best friends and I've seen how much you've changed from this young boy to a young adult. You are a super hero for crying out loud." Marinette giggles. If only he knew she was ladybug, this would make things so much better for the both of them. Maybe if he knew she was ladybug, he would like her for being Marinette. At least she thinks he doesn't like her.
"Can I stay with you for tonight. I need some time away from home and you're the only person I can go to." Chat does his puppy eyes to the girl, knowing she can't resist them. She loved his pout and when he was playful. It was like a breath of fresh air whenever he was around.
"Of course Chat. You are more than welcome to stay. If you need anything the kitchen and living room are just outside my room, and the bathroom is down the hall by the entrance. You can sleep either in here or on the couch." Marinette stands up and walks towards the bedroom door as she explains, Chat following behind her. She steps out of the room and looks over to make sure Alya's door is closed.
"And please be quiet, Alya and Nino are sleeping in that room." She whispers as the walk to the kitchen. Chat grabs a cup out of the box that holds the utensils. Marinette gives a confused look, how did he know those where there? How weird.
Marinette leans against the counter as he takes a drink from the cup he had just filled with water. She stares at him as he gives a weird face to her as he drinks. He sets the half full cup down and questions her stare.
"What with the weird look?" Chat asks, wiping the excess water from his lips. Marinette smiles and moves away from the counter, walking past Chat Noir. He gives another confused look before following her to the couch.
"So, what do you wanna do. We have video games, Netflix, and board games." Marinette opens one of the cabinets in the TV stand she had helped set up earlier with Alya. She pushes through what they had put inside, looking through a mix of games and movies that haven't been organized yet.
"How about a movie, the one we watched when I first stayed over?" Chat asks, sitting with his legs crossed on the couch like a child. Marinette grabs the movie and looks back at the blonde. Smiling at his posture and excitement to hangout. She started to notice more and more things she liked about him as time went on. Like one time when Chat had gotten her ice cream, he was kind of messy with it. Not in a way where it got everywhere, but more like he would get some on his chin or nose without realizing. She found it cute.
She puts the movie in and sits down on the opposite side of the couch from the boy. Slowly one another started to move close to the middle. Marinette yawned and layed down in a fetal position against the arm of the couch. Chat was drifting off to sleep before Marinette had move slightly where he was now closer to her legs. She moved and apologized for being so close, but he smiled and moved closer.
"Is this okay?" He asks, putting his arm around her side as they now lay together facing the TV. Marinette blushed but moved her body against his, creating a warm feeling together.
"I'm more comfortable this way anyways." Marinette turns her head to face the boy behind her. She smiles slightly as he admires her face. He found her so innocent and cute like this. He could lay this way forever and be happy.

Eventually they both fell asleep on the couch as the movie played on. Neither of them payed much attention to it but they enjoyed one another's embrace as they fell asleep.
