"Ok class so you'll be in pairs and you'll be going on a race against the others" Mr Boon said handing us all a map each
"You will be following the route your given. On the back of the map is what you need to collect in order for you to win you need to get here first and have the right objects and amount" he added.
Me and Max went in a pair and Lily and Nick did. Our route seemed quite simple.
"Ok ready. We will be waiting for you back here. GO" he yelled and we all went off following our own routes round the map.
Me and max just walked it because we didn't really care if we won or not. We went round and collected some of the objects we needed whilst we were slowly making our way throughout the route.
"SARA for fuck sake I cant go on any longer. I need a break" Max yelled whilst he was slacking behind me
"Come on" I said
"No. I'm sitting down I need a break" Max stopped and threw himself onto the floor.
"Ugh Fine five minutes" I sat walked over and sat down next to him.
"Omg I have news. But you didn't hear from me ok" he said drinking his water and coming back alive again
"Ok I didn't hear from you"
"Nick... Nick likes Lily" He says and I gasped. I was not expecting that! What a weird couple that would be.
"Really! Omg no way" I say
"Mhm... I know. Awful isn't it" He looked disgusted
"It is a bit weird.... I don't see them being a couple" I squinted my eye brows in disgust as well. I cannot believe he likes Lily, that was so unexpected and random.
We sat there for a bit. In silence closing our eyes not sleeping, just resting them. I heard the sound of a stick break as if it were stepped on. Max shot up from laying down from his back looking around.
Something running. The wind got more heavier. Until. A thud and an animal like scream. Even I was a bit worried
"Nah get the fuck up now and get us out of here" Max stood up in a panic rushing me to stand up. I stood up with him and we both walked super fast.
"No Sara because like what was that" He said in a panic "what if it's a vampire" He said
"VAMPIRES ARENT REAL MAX! THEY DONT EXIST! THEYRE JUST SOME STUPID LITTLE FANTASY" I yelled at him being sick of the vampire shit he's been coming out with recently. It's pissing me off now that people actually think they're real.
"But- what if it was" He said
"WELL IF IT WAS THEN WERE GONNA BE THE NEXT ONES SCREAMING" I yelled again.
