Christopher's pov

Rushing out of the hotel room, I looked left to right to see where they could've gone.

Making it out of the hotel, I looked around some more and called after her name. "Angel! Angel where are you? Can you hear me!"

But no response. I was losing hope. Was I ever going to see her again.

All I could see outside of the hotel was a outdoor pool and some chairs for people to sit on.

No sign of Anthony or Angel. If he hurt her I promised myself I'd kill him and make sure nobody ever find his body.

Sure they still had to be in Puerto Rico. I grabbed my phone and texted Angel asking where she was. She replied a few minutes later.

I see you! I lost sight of him. Look ahead of you.

I looked ahead of me and there she was. It appeared that she was hiding in the bushes. Running over to her, I pulled her in for a hug.

"We're leaving now. Get your things and we're catching a plane back to home" she nodded and we both ran back to the hotel.

"Angel! Stop wait!" Anthony's voice called out. We both turned around and there he was.

His face was a mess and his hair was sticking up, all over the place.

"I'm done with you, Anthony. We're over" Angel said as she tried to catch her breath. I smiled. It was nice knowing she wasn't going to leave me for some guy who doesn't even care about. He just doesn't want to be alone.

We didn't stand there for another minute. We both bolted inside the hotel and gathered our things, praying he wouldn't be waiting for us.

"Listen to me" I say, grabbing Angels shoulders and looking into her eyes. Her body language told me she was nervous.

I'll never forgive myself for what I was about to tell her. "We need to go out separate ways"

Angel cried out loud. "Christopher, baby, what are you talking about?"

"We need to move on. Anthony is to dangerous. He'll eventually find us again. It's not safe"

"Please don't talk like that" her voice was in a whisper and I could tell she was crying. Tears were strolling down her cheeks, her eyes filled with sadness.

"It's for the best, my love. I love you so much" I kiss her forehead and leave her there. My luggage was packed and I grabbed everything and got the hell out of there. Anthony nowhere in sight.

Pain filled my whole heart as I walked away from the hotel. I knew I was never going to find another woman like Angel. May we meet again.
