Fast forward 20 years...

Angels pov:

It's been 20 years since I've last seen my ex husband Anthony and my lover Christopher. Im now in my 40's and I've still always dreamt about my life with Christopher.

I was heartbroken for years. Still am. Even after all this time. Every night I thought if Christopher was even thinking of me like I thought of him.

But then I remembered what Anthony said all those years ago. If Christopher really did love me, he wouldn't have cared that Anthony was after us, trying to split us up and me being back with Anthony again.

So was it all a trick? That he never loved me and he only wanted to use me. But all those dates, late night talks, and just everything we did together. Did that all mean absolutely nothing to him?

He told me he loved me. Was it just a trap, so I could fall in love with him? Millions of questions faced through my head about all the disadvantages and thinking the worst case scenario.

There was a knock on the door. I now lived in a condo and have been for the past two decades. Who could that be?

I opened the door and there stood a beautiful woman.

She had long blonde hair that hung to her shoulders

She had long blonde hair that hung to her shoulders. Her eyes were a ocean blue and her lips were full shaped.

"Hi, do I know you?" I ask the young woman. A smile plastered across her face.

"Hey. I'm looking for a Angel Russo. Do you know her by any chance?" The woman said.

"Yes. My name is Angel Russo. Who wants to know?"

"M-mom?" The woman cried. I was confused. lol? Why is this woman calling me mom?

"I'm sorry, do I know you?" I ask once again, raising an eyebrow.

"Yes! It's me your daughter. Caroline! Caroline Russo. You left home about 20 years ago"

My heart sank. "Oh my god, Caroline? Is this really you?"

The young woman nodded with joyful tears. How did she find me? I pulled her close and gave her a hug. Tears were strolling down my face. I couldn't believe it.

"B-but how?" I stammered. "How did you find me?"

"Growing up, I realized that my mother was never around. I always wonder who she could be," the woman took a deep breath. "So just a few years ago, I asked dad where you were. He told me you had run away a long time ago and we're caught cheating on him with another man"

I nodded my head. "Yes. It's all true. When I left home I was even thinking straight. I never even thought about what my children would've thought of me. It all happened so fast"

"It's okay, mom. I understand"

Offering her inside, I lead her into the kitchen and made us some coffee.

"Dad also told me about your friends. Dina, Valerie and Gabriella. Ring any bells?"

I stopped the pouring the coffee and stared off into space, thinking about them. God, it's been so long since I've seen them. How rude of me to not even check in and see how they were.

"Yes" I turn around. "I remember them. They were such great friends"

"What happened to them?"

"Well. Your father worked with a man named Christopher. Your father also decided it would be okay to host a little dinner party at our home"

"And that's how you met your other lover?" Charlotte looked at me and smile. I nodded.

"Yup. And within time me and him fell in love. Well, at least I did"

"What do you mean?"

"It's such a long story"

Charlotte smiles and folds her hands on the table. "I have time. Is it okay if you tell me everything?"

"Of course, my dear"

And with that I told my daughter everything about how I met Christopher and how we drew apart and haven't been in contact all these years.

"Christopher" Charlotte says, saying it like the name sounds familiar. "I've done some research on him. He doesn't live to far from your home"

"Really?" A spark of hope lit inside me and I was pleading for more answers.

Charlotte nods. "Yes. Me and him spoke on the phone and he's on his way here to your home now? He's about 15 minutes away from you"

"H-he's on his way here now?" I almost wanted to spit my coffee out and jump up with joy. Even though he's put me through endless pain, seeing him once again would be a dream come true.

There was another knock. Both of our heads turned quickly to the door.

"That must be him!" Charlotte squealed
