Scene:
Mer has come down with a pretty bad case of the flu, so she feels much smaller than usual and insanely clingy.

Addison POV:
Meredith hasn't been feeling too well for the past few days. Since Mer grew up with not the most caring of mothers, Meredith always feels a bit like a burden when she's sick. Because of that, I always try my best to make her feel loved and wanted on a regular day but especially when she is ill. Since Meredith has been so nauseous, I made her call out of work. Obviously my lovely wife was not pleased with this, but I want my baby girl to be as comfortable as possible and not running around the hospital right now.
After driving home after a busy day of delivering babies and teaching my favorite intern Jo who Carina and I both enjoy hanging out with; I walk into a very quiet home. I quickly find Mer passed out on the couch with some random cartoons on and find Maya cleaning in the kitchen. I decide to not disturb her and thank Maya for watching Meredith. Maya is Carina's wife and I would usually ask Carina to babysit, but we both had work together so Maya was the best idea.
Meredith doesn't love the idea of having babysitters but she absolutely loves her auntie Maya and zia Car. Which is perfect because Meredith is typically smaller than usual when she is sick so I knew I needed to have someone stay with her.
My little girl wakes up about fifteen minutes after Maya leaves and once she realizes I'm back home she sniffles and motions for me to come over to her side. I come over and she immediately clings to my side. I kiss her forehead to take her temperature and she is burning up. Since Maya ordered her and Mer some soup for dinner, I decided to start Meredith's little space night routine a bit earlier tonight.
Finally after getting the baby bathed, dressed, and comfy she nods off snuggled into my side. However I still haven't eaten so I snuck out of the bed and ate a quick meal. I finally was then able to go to sleep next to the love of my life.

Hey besties! I'm so sorry that it has been over a month since I updated. I was playing the baker in my schools production of into the woods, so i was very busy with rehearsals and I also take classes at a performing arts school and it is spring show season. I will try to update more often but no promises.
