Devynn's pov

I wake up and go downstairs to see my nana in the kitchen. Hey nana "hi sweetheart" watcha cookin "poppi's famous French toast and bacon" mhm my favorite I say as she puts the plate in front of me. Any news on my mom "yea she is out of the hospital and in rehab" Oh thank God I say relieved my mom isn't dead how long she there for "3 months" cool I say unbothered "I'm so sorry honey" honestly I don't care anymore I cried my tears and I've realized that crying doesn't bring her home and crying doesn't make all of this go away it's still here but thank you for the breakfast it was delicious as always and I'm going to go workout "ok baby love you" love you too nana I go upstairs and grab one of my mom's workout bras a pair of her matching shorts put my hair up in a high ponytail and go to the gym I punch the bag over and over and over and over again when I start to feel tears pouring down my face I quickly wipe them got a drink and continued "I wouldn't want to be at the end of those hooks I'm cruise" nice to meet you cruise I'm Devynn and you think you can do better "oh I know I can" really well if your that confident I'm gonna have to get your number so you can show me in person next time cause I'm headed out "one that was hella smooth and here" cool see you Wednesday morning at 11:30 don't be late or I'll hook you in the face
