Chapter Thirty-Five ⚔ Pressure Test ⚔
Theo walked out of the cell room after Parrish let him out and sighed softly when he saw Ivory standing there with her arms crossed and eyebrows raised. "Why didn't you tell me you've been sleeping in your truck?" Ivory asked making Theo sighed, "The Deputies told you?" He asked and she nodded.
"Yeah, they did. Theo, you told me you had a place. Your truck is not a place." Ivory said and he shook his head, "I'm working on it." He said and she gave him a look. "Clearly." Ivory said sarcastically before sighing softly, "I could've helped you." She said. "You shouldn't have to deal with my problem." He said and she raised her eyebrows while wrapping her arms around his shoulders.
"Theo, you are my problem." She said, smiling when he gave her a look before she pulled him down into a quick kiss. "Okay, you go sign whatever papers you have to sign, I need to go talk to the others." She said and started to pull away, smiling at him when he kissed her cheek before walking away.
"I'm not letting them out. We've got two bodies covered in slash marks. They confessed to killing two people." Stilinski said as Ivory walked into the office where Scott, Malia, Lydia and Liam stood. "Hunters." Ivory corrected and Stilinski glance at her and sigh softly.
"People, Ivory. Self-defense or not, they're still here. The other guys are dead. And there's a process I have to follow." Stilinski corrected her making her sigh. "You know what's happening around here. It's not safe for them." Scott said, "This may actually be the safest place for them in Beacon Hills. At least I can protect them here." Stilinski said and Lydia squinted slightly before raising her eyebrows.
"Would Stiles think that?" She asked and Malia nodded slightly, "Especially if one of your deputies is working for Gerard?" She asked and Stilinski shook his head. "I'm not buying that. I know these deputies like the back of my hand. I know their families, their kids, their brothers and sisters... I know who they are, and I trust them." Stilinski said as they all glanced back at the Deputies through the window.
