"Is that the last box?" Ivory asked as Theo set down a box in their new apartment in Connecticut. "Yeah." He said and Ivory smiled as she walked up to him. "Now." She said as she wrapped her around around his shoulders making him grab her hips, "Before you fully commit to this. Are you sure that you're ready to fully live with me?" Ivory asked.
"I wouldn't have gotten this far if I wasn't." He said and Ivory playfully squinted at him, "There's no chance of you backing you?" She asked and he raised his eyebrows. "You'd think I'd back out on you?" He asked and Ivory raised her eyebrows, "A girl can never be too sure." She said with a slight shrug.
"I don't plan on backing out anytime soon." He said making her scoff lightly, "Anytime soon? I think you meant 'ever'." She said making him playfully roll his eyes. "You're gonna be annoying to live with, aren't you?" He asked and she smiled, "I'm gonna try to be." She said.
Theo chuckled and shook his head slightly before pulling her closer and pressing his lips to hers. Ivory instantly kissed back, one of her hands moving to cup the side of his face. Their lips moved in sync for a moment before Ivory hummed softly and pulled back a bit.
"Last question." She said making him groan slightly, "What is it?" He asked and she smiled and raised her eyebrows. "Can we get a cat?" She asked making him give her a look, "Are you serious?" He asked and she nodded. "Deadly. I've wanted one since I brought a rescue home when I was fifteen and my dad- well, you know." Ivory said and Theo raised his eyebrows.
"Are you really gonna use the abuse to guilt trip me into letting you get a cat?" He asked and she smiled and nodded.

"I can't believe I agreed to this." Theo mumbled after he parked outside an animal shelter. "I hope you're ready to be a cat dad." She said making him give her a look as she smiled at him and leaned over to quickly kiss him before getting out.
