"and then?""and that's where you come in. set the place on fire the second you get the message. we'll do all the killing while you cover the place in gasoline and set up the gas canisters and bombs, make sure you're in the van by the time we ask you to set it off, or else." rindou mapped out the perfect plan for you, it was flawless besides the fact you had little to no effect in it.
"or else what?" you challenged.
"or else you'll die from the explosion, stupid." he stood from his seat just opposite you, reaching a hand for your face to grab your chin within his thumb and fingers, "and nobody wants to see your pretty face go out yet, huh?"
you threw his hands off, hating how rindou confused you. acting apprehensive one moment, and all hands on deck the next? quite literally all hands, he was all over you whenever he chose. "take your mushroom hands away from me, fucking pecker." you assessed the situation, "nobu's cool to come, right?"
"no."
"why the fuck not?" you smirked in challenge, "he is my personal assistant after all, shouldn't he go wherever i go?"
"well you won't be on your own during the raid, so shut the fuck up and do as you're fuckin' told." rindou clearly struggled to hold back, a major change since your tenjiku era. he used to be so calm with you, rolling off your every word and always humming in approval.
"tell me to shut up again and you'll be the one getting bombed."
"it's not like that- he's not as good as one of us being with you... you're safer with m- us. " a grin washed over your expression hearing his little slip up.
"awh rin," this time you reached out to cup his face, "you're so cute when you care about me♥!
"shut up, i don't."
"you don't care about your coworkers?" you raised an eyebrow, mischief painted all over your expression. you loved mocking and teasing him.
"of course i do, but you're different to the rest though."
"how so, rin?"
"call me that again and see what happens." he spoke firmly, standing away from your presence in fear of the situation progressing in your favour and to avoid the question you had just asked. rindou lacked control around you, and it was clear to him that you loved the feeling of having him below you. rindou, who was in fact, afraid that just like all those years ago, he'd fall at your feet and become weak again. bonten was different to tenjiku, it was far more dangerous and having someone like you back beside him only increased the risks of losing someone. mikey must come first.
"call you what, rin?" he was becoming sick of your teasing, it pained him knowing he couldn't bring himself to match your advances. not yet at least.
