Optimus!

And there he was riding the T-Rex like a horseman going into battle. He was like a stoic knight, coming to save his beloved people and the princess. His brave and authoritative posture gave me chills as I clung to Cade behind a pillar. I was so relieved to see him that I began to cry.

Optimus turned his head slightly, catching a glimpse of another giant metal dinosaur. A two-headed pterodactyl. "Bee! Jump!" He instructed his scout on the ground. Bee nodded to his leader and saw his target. He leaped and the flying dinosaur caught him, flying off to another war zone. However, another Deception leaped after him, gripping his foot as they flew away. I gasped but knew that Bee could take care of him, especially with the metal dinosaur's help.

On a monorail track nearby, Drift came in with the swing of his swords, slicing an enemy in half. He flipped over another, tossing a sword at it, killing it instantly. When all the enemies around him were gone, he turned to us as Optimus approached him, gazing in the same direction.

Optimus caught my eye with his blue ones, giving me a light smile. Then with all the energy, I had in me, I ran to him. I ran like no pain existed as nothing else mattered. Because he was there. He was back. He was alive.

"Optimus!" I shouted, approaching the foot of the giant T-Rex. Optimus bent down and offered me his hand as he usually did. I grinned wider and climbed on as he lifted me up to his face. As soon as I could reach his face, I grabbed it and hugged him with all my might. "Optimus! I'm so glad you're okay." I released him and smiled softly.

He returned the smile, but it soon faded when he noticed my arm. "What happened?"

"Oh, this?" I asked, grabbing my gunshot wound. "Just a gunshot. The guy that attacked our house back in Texas cut us off on the roof of the apartment building. He was shooting at us and I got hit. But I'm fine." I smiled through the pain.

"You always say you're fine, but I doubt you are." He retorted seriously.

I sighed and rubbed the wound. "Yeah, I guess you're right. But now really isn't the time to think about wounds. We've got a world to save!" I told him, raising my fist in the air optimistically.

He smiled and placed me on his shoulder. "That we do." He directed the T-Rex toward the group of humans, becoming deadly serious. I recognized Joshua with the bag immediately, taken aback in awe.

"Awesome job!" He celebrated, trying to defuse the known anger toward him from the leader of the Autobots.

Optimus took a sword from his back and pointed it down at Joshua. "You."

    "Who?" Joshua played dumb.

"You," Cade told him, pushing him forward as he held his gun in his hand.

    "Step forward," Optimus commanded.

Joshua stepped forward still acting dumb. "Wait, why?"

"Your science will be responsible for humanity's extinction," Optimus said, steadying the T-Rex as he twirled the sword in his hand.

"All right. I know that you're sensitive to this whole bioethical dilemma." Joshua prolonged.

"Yeah, no shit Sherlock!" I yelled down to him. He glanced up and saw me on Optimus' shoulder, giving me an irritated look.

Cade glanced at me with a small chuckle, only to be erased as he turned back to Joshua. "Maybe all he wants to hear you say is that some things should never be invented." I nodded, and surprisingly, so did the T-Rex.
