"Ok, where to first then?" Danielle asked the Canadian as she put her phone back in her pocket.
"Well, during the flight I googled things to do and the top suggestion was Pier39. It's a fairground but it also has lots of artisan food stalls and things. But if you wanted to see more of the city, we could do a hop on - hop off bus tour which would take us round by the bridge then drop us off at the top of the city where we could get a trolley down to the Pier?" Caterina suggested. "Sounds good. Let's go" Danielle replied heading off in the direction of the nearest bus stop. Caterina wasn't sure how today was going to go but she owed it to Stefania to at least try to get the blonde on side.
Meanwhile back at the hotel.
"So what's the story with you two then?" Chandra asked Stefania as they finished their coffees and walked through the lobby of the hotel. "Urgh, I really like her Chandra. She's so beautiful. And I think she feels the same way..." "but?" Chandra cut her off. "But she's been really badly hurt in the past. This is not going to be an easy road to navigate with her but it's a road I'm willing to take all the same." "Do I get the feeling that she's not too happy with what Cooper said yesterday?" Chandra asked. "Urgh, yeah. She has these massive walls built up because of her past and what he said really threw her. She's really jealous of Cat. I don't know what to do other than keep reassuring her that she has nothing to worry about." "Doesn't she?" Chandra questioned. "Chandra come on. That's way in the past. Caterina and I are nothing more than friends, and we haven't been for a long time now." "And I believe that from you... but is the same true for Caterina?" Chandra said with a sympathetic expression. "I hope so, I have to trust that she can accept it for what it was. It was just sex. I know she caught feelings but I never did. I told her that. She knows I see her as my friend and PA only. And besides, her and Kevin seem to be getting stronger every day. And I don't want to think about anyone other than Danielle."
Back in the city
Danielle and Caterina were now 30 minutes into their tour and just approaching the bridge. They hadn't really talked much. Both more interested in listening to the tour guide than each other. Danielle started snapping photos of the bridge & decided to send a pic to Stefania.
