Akayuki's POV
My eyelids slowly fluttered open only to be greeted by the blinding light of the sun. I slowly sat up groaning in pain, as my eyes adjusted towards the light, scanning the room I noticed I was no longer in the Yokai Village anymore. My tails rustled underneath the futon and my ears perked up, sensing movement in the hallway of the household. I felt a strong presence of other yokai, but gladly enough it was not the ones who chased after me. Yet, that did not stop me from feeling weary of the odd environment I was in.
Suddenly the shoji had slid open, revealing an average height girl (5'3). " She seems so familiar... Were we once acquinted before?" My thoughts running wild with questions were interrupted by the girl as she loudly cleared her throat, dragging me out of my overflowing thoughts.
"Where am I?" I said, with a stone cold voice.
I didn't trust her, though a pang in my chest was causing me to think otherwise. My voice not affecting her bright mood at all, replied with a cheerful smle before saying," We brought you to the Ouryuu Castle."
My head tilted in slight confusion, "Ouryuu Castle? Wha-." I stopped mid-sentence, feeling a surge of memories surface. Eyelids slipping shut as I was sucked into the darkness once again, but this time it wasn't a peaceful sleep, no it was the surfacing of my locked away past.
~Dream/Memory/Vision~
"Aka-chan!" A voice from the distance shouted.
"Ah! Rima-chan!" The white haired girl's eyes sparkled in excitment as she waved to her friend.
"Lets go, lets go. Hurry Aka-chan we gotta go meet with the others!" Rima quickly ushered he friend to run with her.
"Hai, hai." The white haired girl agreed as she ran along with her blonde haired friend
The image had slowly faded away, only to be replaced by another. But this time there was five other girls among the two.
There was one girl with long aqua hair and aqua orbs, with magenta on her outer lids. She was wearing a white and pink kimono, complimenting her pale snow white skin and beautiful aqua hair. Reiko. Next to her was Rima, blonde hair flowing effortlessly down with two low ribbons tied loosely and a large red bow on the top of her head near her horns, and a cute kimono suited for her child like height. At Rima's left was another girl, with eyes burning like fire and the tips of her black hair flickering like flames. She was wearing a toupee colored floor length dress and a beaded flower hair piece. Miko. Next to Miko, was another girl with brown curly hair and deep golden eyes and a mask resting on top of her messy hair. She had a fur coat on covering her tank top and her tail peeking out from her shorts with her companion wolf on her side. Emiko. To her left was a girl with short white hair, black wings, and a mask covering her onyx eyes. The girl held a katana in its sheath, on the waist band of her black kimono pants and her white kimono top exposing her belly button. Maya. And the last girl that completed the circle that surrounded the younger me, was a girl dressed in a blue kimono, with blue hair that's was tied into a ponytail a d pinned with a blue lotus flower. Her hand held a lantern with butterflies captured within and mist that subtly flowed out of it. Her eyes were a large blue, captivating anyone. Erika.
"Yuki/Aka-chan! Let's go their waiting for us to meet with them!" They happily exclaimed.
"Yeah! Let's go meet our lovers!" My younger self's voice cheerfully rung out.
Lovers? Who are they? I thought to myself. That seemed to let another set of memories to trigger as the scene faded and voices clouded my mind.
"Sei-chan!" "Sei-chan let's play!" "Sei, I love you, forever and all eternity, no matter what comes our way I'll always be by your side. I promise!"
A lower voice replied tenderly, " I promise to you too, Yuki."
The low voice resonated in my mine. Sei? Who's that? Suddenly a imagine of a young boy with blood red hair and ruby like eyes evaded my mind. Akashi Seijuro. My lover.
The memories seem to flow away and my conscious seem to fade back to me as well. But one person did not leave my mind, Sei-chan.
~Dream / Memory / Vision End~
Rima's POV
"Sei-chan." Yuki mumbled his name so softly, even I had to strain my ears just to hear her properlh. She must be regaining her all her bittersweet memories of the past, I thought. Ryouta had finally stepped into the room with a solemn look that covered his face, along with the guilt and pain he held in his eyes.
"Ryou-chan, it's so unfair for her to re-live those memories and not have Juro-Chan by her side." I quietly whispered.
Tears had trailed down my cheeks, "Rima, fate has in store another meeting between the the two. So do not fret, they will meet a second time, and very soon indeed." Ryouta's voice held determination as he said those words.
I need to have hope in destiny and fate. Hoping they'll play in our favor, but I knew thag wouldn't happen. I stared back down at Aka," But... There is a deadly storm coming our way."
