Dylan's P.O.V

I suddenly stopped short, a tan figure crashing into my back then falling onto the pavement. I had to restrain from laughing, and it was mighty hard. I didnt understand why he was following me, or why he was following at such close proximity, but it sure was unusual.

I slightly turned my head so i could see him brushing himself off with a confused look on his face that suddenly turned to anger.

"You stupid bitch! Why the hell would you stop in the center of the sidewalk?!" He yelled, only half truly quisitive.

He ran a hand through his dark brown/ almost black hair, making it fall back into place where it had previously been before he fluffed it. It was very intriguing and very hot. But the bruises he gave me a year before sure as hell weren't. As soon as that thought crossed my mind, ice traveled through my veins and blood vessels straight to my non existent heart.

"It wouldnt have happened if you werent following me you creep! And I'd suggest not going AWOL in public, wouldn't want the press to find out now would we?" I half heartedly questioned with a smirk. I didn't give a damn about his reputation, because it was obvious he didn't give a damn about me.

He looked down in vain, closing his eyes briefly then turning on his heel and walking away. But my hand reached out and grabbed his wrist and jerked him around to face me.

He looked at me in question, but he could ask me all day long why I'd done it and I wouldn't have had an answer. So that was obviously the first question on everyone's mind, and it was the first question to roll off his lips.

I stayed silent with my lips creased downwards only slightly. It was obvious I still loved him, and I really shouldn't, but who could blame me. I mean damn, the whole 12 year old population spend their time swooning over him and they don't even have a chance with him.

So while I still had his grasp, I pulled him along behind me towards the place we always went to figure things out.

After the walk had pursued, we found ourselves in front of the old, solemn, and rotten treehouse that was somehow still reliable and sturdy. The large beautiful tree, of what kind i did not know, bloomed beautiful pink, white, red, yellow, and orange flowers. Calum and i always called it the rainbow tree whenever we asked out parents if we could go. We found out about the tree through our parents who went there when they were young.

Back then it was just a tree, but when our parents saw we took an interest in the tree Calum and I's fathers came out and built us a tree house. It was all next to a little spring with crystal clear blue water with grass that seemed to stay the same emerald color year 'round. We weren't in Ireland, but this little sport sure did belong there.

Things between Calum and me were obviously very rocky, as I've said. But this was like an earthquake. Every time before when we went to the treehouse, we hadn't fought or anything. He hadn't hit me, he had loved me.

I remember when we were younger one time, maybe around 7-8 and we were playing at the treehouse, it had been raining. The wood on the step ladder was drenched and i slipped and fell, breaking my arm. Calum jumped down in the midst of my crying and held me then picked me up and carried me home. He had muscle for a kid so young, but then again i was still very frail and weightless then and now.

"Why'd you..." I already knew what he was going to ask, but i didn't have a response. It was like this long walk from Starbucks was so familiar to me, and going to the treehouse to make out; i was so used to it.

So i only shook my head and climbed into the treehouse that was miraculously still big enough for us, especially for his tall frame. He had clambered in behind me, and i heard a sharp 'ow' as his head made contact with the roof, slightly knocking it out of place. I couldnt help but giggle which caused Calums head to jolt towards the source of sound and also crack a small smile.

He crawled over towards me and sat down next to me. We looked out of the big plexiglass window. There were no cars to be seen because the treehouse was a ways walk away from the road, so the only scenery were the trees and the creek and the emerald green grass.

It looked like something from a fairytale, but then i remembered Calum was here as his lips crashed into mine.
