Gibbs lay awake watching Addy sleeping, the way she was so relaxed now when he had awoken from yet another bad dream. Letting out a soft sigh as he brushed some hair from her face as he leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"Too early." She grumbled in response to his touch. He just chuckled lowly as his hand rested on her hip now.

"Never too early." He teased a bit, pressing a kiss to her neck now. She groaned and pushed him back a bit playfully.

"Jethro. We have to move Leyla and Amira in the house today." She opened her eyes to meet his, seeing the glint of mischievousness.

"Not until later." He shrugged, not willing to admit he was just making sure this was real. That he wasn't stuck in some dream, that she was still here with him.

Ever since Mike had died over a month ago, each night he was plagued with dreams of something similar or worse happening and taking Addy from him. Mike had been one person he could always count on, no matter what. And now he was gone. Maybe he was just destined to lose those closest to him no matter what he did.

"Still. We have to get most of it done today gunny." She nudged his leg with her foot. "Unfortunately my boss isn't as lenient as yours and I have to work tomorrow for awhile."

"I'm sure you could call Tobias and work something out." She just rolled her eyes and he chuckled.

"Yeah I doubt it. He's still pissed I didn't save him from the dinner with Diane."

"Mhm." He grunted and swung his legs over the bed and sat up, running a hand over his head. She sat up a bit and rubbed her eyes.

"Leylas awake, I smell coffee." She grabbed his robe and pulled it on, smirking at the look her gave her. "What? Your robe is more comfortable than mine. And it smells like you." She pressed a kiss to his cheek before they went downstairs.

"Gibbs!" Amira shouted from her spot at the table as she held a piece of bacon in each hand. He smiled and walked over, kissing the top of her head.

"Good morning Amira." He playfully stole a bite of the bacon she waved around making her squeal with laughter. She smiled at how easy he was with her, It made her heart soar.

"Leyla." He smiled and pressed a kiss to her cheek before he poured them some coffee.

"Good morning. I wanted to make breakfast. Just a small thank you for everything."

"Leyla, you're family. You two are always welcome here. Anytime." She smiled and sat down at the table. "The rest of your stuff is supposed to be at the house around noon today." Leyla smiled and sat down with her own coffee and plate of food.

"Wonderful. I know getting on our own will be a nice change for us. " Leyla smiled. He sat down too.

"But our door is always open Leyla." He smiled. Layla just smirked lightly.

"Gibbs, I am very capable of living alone with my daughter. Did you forget Mike taught me how to shoot?" He chuckled lowly and shook his head.

"No. I didn't forget. I know you're very protective of Amira."

Setting a box down she let out a long breath, she hadn't been feeling too well since she woke up. Blaming it on the extra stress and work they were doing with the house. Walking to the bathroom she splashed some cold water on her face, that offered a few moments of relief. Stepping back out she went to the living room where they were putting some books on a shelf.

"I'm going to head back home for a bit. I'm not feeling too well. Maybe it was the Chinese we had." She muttered softly and waved at the girls before walking outside. He gave her a worried look as he was carrying something else inside.
