Tomorrow was an exciting day for you. You are going to start writing another book! It has been about a month since you last published something. Usually, your books did quite well. You usually did action books but this time you are going to change it up, you are going to write a romance novel! Sure, it wasn't your area of expertise but you wanted to try something new. Maybe a new environment will allow you to develop a new kind of writing. You are planning on spending a few months in Mondstadt, you heard that the atmosphere there is very different from what you are used to.
It was 6:02am. You had urgent matters to deal with at 6:30am. You get out of bed and freshen up, then you put on proper clothes. You wouldn't want to not look presentable in front of important people. You were the first daughter of the Feiyun Commerce Guild. You didn't have so much to deal with everyday since your older brother took some of that work upon himself. But that doesn't mean you weren't busy at all. You still had lots of responsibility, but your workload was a little less than what it should be. You always try to tell him you can deal with it but he tells you that it keeps him occupied and it's good for him. You always try to help out your younger brother, Xingqiu with matters though. For him to be at a young age and deal with a lot was hard on him. He impressed you, being able to handle so much at once. Especially while writing a book at the same time. From a young age you and Xingqiu both had a passion for books, always talking about them and hanging out in the library together. You and him bonded a lot over the years, allowing you two to become close. Now, both of you are successful writers, though nobody knows about your true identities. Both of yours are hidden. You haven't told Xingqiu about your trip to Mondstadt yet. You didn't want to leave Xingqiu, you wish he could've gone with you but he wants to focus on his studies for now. You headed over to Xingqiu's room, it was a mess like always. He was sitting at his desk, using his quill pen to write something down on some paper. He wasn't that open to other people about his hobbies, but with you it was a different story.
Y/N: Good morning Xingqiu!
Xingqiu: Oh, good morning Y/N!
Y/N: What are you writing?
Xingqiu: Oh, it's just a draft.
Y/N: It looks great!
Xingqiu: Thank you!
His writing looked like scribbles, though after knowing him for years you could tell what it said. It had an interesting plot, including a lot of action with hints of fantasy. You and Xingqiu's writing styles are extremely different. Personally, you think that he is more skilled. There's something that's missing in your writing, it's the last piece in the puzzle. Hopefully, you find that last piece in Mondstadt. Thinking about Mondstadt, now it's a good time to tell Xingqiu.
Y/N: Uh, Xingqiu?
Xingqiu: Yes Y/N?
Y/N: Can I tell you something?
Xingqiu: Alright.
Y/N: Tomorrow I was planning on staying in Mondstadt for a while.
A sad expression spread across Xingqiu's face. It hurts your heart a little.
Xingqiu: How long is a while?
Y/N: I'm not sure. However long it takes me to find the missing part of my writing.
