Everyone got into their running positions, ready to run to either kill or be killed. Then there was Deja standing like a lost puppy. She observed the arena, the cornucopia resembled a large igloo, somewhat explaining the sub zero temperature. There were backpacks scattered everywhere, at the entrance of the icy cornucopia was the hilt of a sword, the entrance was only small and ready to have it's walls painted red. Smart tactic, send everyone into a confined space to get weapons then use them on each other, forgetting about the necessities that lay within the backpacks. It was the last thing Deja expected she'd be using, logic. If four people could just be killed in the cornucopia then Deja would get away with grabbing a few backpacks and heading off into the forest. The countdown neared an end...

10...9...8...

Deja composed herself, set her eyes on a few backpacks that were closest to her, one was bound to have something to keep her warm for the night...

7...6...5...

She fiddled with the ring that was sitting perfectly on her index finger...

4...3...2...

Cato, she had to make it, she had to see him again, he would no doubt survive the first round, what if she does die? What if does come down to the two of them?

Everyone launched off their plates and headed straight for the cornucopia, she only recognized Lellia from Two who thankfully had already disappeared into the icy cornucopia. Deja scooped up two backpacks with ease, there were two on the way leading to the forest. As she reached down for the third backpack she felt a sharp pain slice across her leg, she fell forward into the icy mud and grass, scraping her hand on random rocks. She rolled over and looked down at her thigh, which was now dripping with a deep red liquid. Blood. It barely hurt, she could just feel the air going in-between the gap in the middle of her thigh, she couldn't see how deep or big the cut was, there was too much blood and she was losing it fast, making her vision blurry. A cannon went off and for a moment Deja wondering if she'd died, the blow to her face re assured her she was still alive. She looked up to see blonde hair flowing in the wind and a large grin. Lellia grabbed the scruff of Deja's jacket and pulled her up to her face, "Never would have expected Cato to be into brunettes, my sister was sure he loved her blondeness, but Glimmer was always the stupid one, let love blind her, in a way she deserved to die, just like you do." She laughed as she examined Deja's face, a hint of sadness in her eyes when she spoke of her sister, the sadness soon covered with a menacially laugh, ''But, before we do that, let's see if Cato still loves you after we re-arrange that pretty face of yours." Lellia pulled out a knife from her waist band and held it to Deja's lips, ''Good luck kissing Cato without any lips.''
