Deja rolled over expecting to be welcomed to a soft pillow, but was instead unwelcomed by rough sand grazing her face. She grumbled, remembering exactly where she was. "Wake up baby elephant." A sad, deep voice whispered, Deja looked up into clear blue eyes, glowing with a tender smile. "I don't like sand." She said, getting herself up and shrugging the sand off her shoulders. "Where's Haymich?" She asked drearily, "I'm over here!" He shouted, Deja looked and saw him by a campfire cooking something that strongly resembled fish. "Cato, what is going on? What if it come down to the three of us? How will we-" Deja's ranting was cut short as Cato caught her mouth with her own, a silencing kiss. at first Deja tried to pull away, desperate to sort out the dilema at hand, but Cato was desperate to savour all the time the two had left together and he always got what he wanted, the point proven as he cupped her face with his hands and held her in place, this time when he kissed her she complied and kissed back. Their moment of bliss was cut short by Haymitch, "Hey guys, I know you're hungry, but instead of eating each other's faces, why don't you come eat some fresh, cooked fish?" Cato's hands released her face, she pulled away slightly but their noses still touched, Cato could feel her warm breath against his lips, "Stop worrying for now." He said quietly before hastily getting up, reaching his hand out to help Deja up, but she rudely refused, getting herself on her feet alone, "It's going to happen sooner or later, you need to start worrying." She said angrily before stalking over to Haymitch and food, angry that she gave herself to him so easily. Cato just stared at her back, amazed at her mood swings.
