In the Dark woods, on a golden trail.

I'm Looking for a prince like in all of those fairytales.

" Who goes there?" says the evil queen,

One wrong word, and she'll rip out your spleen.

"Off to the dungeon!" she screams.

"You trespassing fiend, Tomorrow at light, you'll lose your life,"

But till the end, I promise to fight.

Calling for help, I'm calling for help.

A damsel in distress,

but no prince to get you out of this mess.

No one You love to save the day,

As your world fades to grey.

Please, come and save me. Come and fight.

Where are you, my dark knight?

Today is the day, heads will roll,

It's the end I'm told, as they march me down death's road.
Can't anyone hear me? Doesn't anyone see me?

Please come and save me, race against the light,

Where are you, my dark night?

All around, hundreds of lamb eyes, their black pools of lies.

They blink at me carelessly. I'm losing hope that you will find me.

My turn is coming. I should be running.

One head rolls, two heads roll, three,

oh, dark knight, where are thee?

Sunlight shines on faded white skin,

It was never a fairytale, only ever Grimm.

The ax lifts to the sky,

and as a tear falls, I bid you goodbye.

The ax swings down, and you're too late.

Was this always my fate?

Maybe in another life, we will gaze with sight.

But for now, Farewell,

My darkest knight.
