Reunion

### This was the episode after Chet Hunter's death and during Allan's supposedly surprise birthday party. 

Mr Turner walked out off the Philadelphia airport close to 10pm.  He tried to call , Cory , Topanga and the Matthews' house but nobody picked up the phone. 

Now , what ?

He decided to just try his luck and took a cab to the Matthews' house. 

He walked  up the front door , lounging his backpack  and knocked.  There were lights in the living room. 

The door open , and he was greeted by a beautiful black young lady. 

Angela ? That was the first thing that came into his head. 

Either that , he might be at the wrong house. 

She looked curiously at  him, there were traces of tears in her eyes. 

"Who is it Angela?" asked a voice from inside. She open the door wider and step aside , giving Jonathan Turner a view of the whole living room. Amy and Allan Matthews were sitting on a sofa , facing the door. Jonathan  recognized Eric sitting beside them  holding his head, the rest of the young people there , he did not recognize. There were balloons spread everywhere in the room and there was a young lady holding a birthday cake. But the atmosphere , was so solemn. Even Eric wasn't his upbeat self. 

Where was Shawn? Where was Cory? and where was Topanga?

Jonathan stood there feeling very awkward. 

"Jon? Jonathan Turner? Is that really you?" Allan got up , looking stunned. As he walked up to Jonathan , a smile broke out of his tired face and he bear hugged  Jonathan. 

He could not believe that his son's former English teacher was there.  Amy followed  suit, sobbing as she gave him a hug. Allan was still holding Jon's  hand. Eric , seeing  Mr Turner , jumped off the sofa and ran to Jonathan , nearly knocking the man down as he hugged Jonathan. 

It's so good to see you. "said Cory's father , looking relief. 

"Like wise , Allan, "trying to untangled himself from Eric.

"What's going on here?" "Where's Cory and Shawn?" asked  Jonathan. 

"You didn't bump into them outside ? Cory left just now, "said Eric. 

Ï must have missed them. Who's birthday and why so glum?" asked Jonathan  looking around. Allan dragged Jonathan to the sofa , and introduced  him to the rest of the guest in the living room. Jonathan smiled and nodded  at Jack and Angela. 

I've been wanting  to meet you , when Cory told me everything about you. Especially you , young lady, "he pointed to Angela. He smiled gently. 

"Thank you for keeping Shawn  up the straight path and loving him, " he said warmly. Everyone was talking at once and keeping Jonathan up to date on what happened.  Then came the news of Shawn's mother  and his father's death. Jack told everything that had happened in the hospital ward , when it was just the three of them. 

After the story finished, everyone looked at Jon. He lay back on the sofa and shook his head sadly. 

"Poor Shawn...... I just wished  that he had come  and talk to me or give me a call. "

Allan  put his hand on his shoulder and gave it a gentle squeeze .
