Recovery, rehabilitation , resolve and running with the bulls

"I knew this was a mistake! "cried Cory  trying to catch his breath. Shawn was beside  him  wheezing. 

Ït looked fun in the documentary! "wheezed Shawn. Shawn noticed a red smudge on his t-shirt.

"Blood !  Blood ! I'm bleeding ! The bull got me!"Shawn screamed hysterically.  A tall man with a mullet rushed into the alley , looking concern. 

"Hunter! Matthews! Are you boys ok?"asked Jonathan Turner. 

Ï'm bleeding ! Call the ambulance!"cried Shawn.  Mr Turner kneeled beside Shawn and inspected  his T-shirt. He pulled up Shawn's  t-shirt to check , there were no gash or cuts on the boy's body. 

" You  don't have any injury on you,"Mr Turner  turned to check up on Cory. Shawn looked at the smudge .

Ï have someone's blood on me?" Cory looked dazed. 

Ï can't remember what happen? All I can remember are the screamings , the shouting , the running , the blood , the sweat. And the shadow behind us , snorting and the hooves and those EYES!!and running, soooo much running  !"said Cory looking hysterical. Mr Turner slapped  his face. 

"Snap out of it Man!I told you it was a bad idea!" Mr Turner had been skeptical when the boys showed their interest to join the group for the run. So there he was , with the side spectators , who were  cheering the runners, while he, at the side was praying desperately that everything would be find. 

He nearly had a heart attack when he saw one of the runners lifted high up in the sky after head butted by one of the bull. He ran together with the spectators. He clambered up a fire escape and peered to see where Shawn and Hunter were. The two boys ran into a narrow alley as the bulls path them by. He jumped down the  fire escape  and ran to search for the boys. 

"Don't forget the blood......"continued Shawn. Mr Turner looked at Shawn, he sighed and bent down to have a closer look at his smudge t-shirt. It looked so familiar. He sniffed and gave an exasperated sigh. 

"Shawn! It's not blood !It's tomato sauce! You don't  have someone's blood on you!" Shawn look up at his teacher , and bend down to smell his t-shirt. He gave a loop sided grin. 

"MUst be from  the burger I ate for lunch."Mr Turner sighed , he stood up and gave his hand to Cory, who was slowly  recovering from his exhaustion. 

The three of them were in Spain for their summer holiday, which was a long overdue promise that he had made to Shawn. ................................................................................................

Jonathan was discharged  from the hospital one month after the accident. It took him several more month for him to walk properly and he had to undergo intensive physiotherapy. 

Both Shawn, Cory, Topanga  and Mr Feeny came to visit him everyday at the hospital once he regain  conscience . Shawn was cracking up stupid jokes when he came for his visit, ignoring any questions  about classes and his parents. Jonathan knew that Shawn was having a hard time seeing him like this and didn't want to push the boy. Jonathan was just satisfied  that Shawn  was still coming to him to talk even if it was random topics.
