Chapter 10: Double kill?!

He woke up on his bed. Hadn't he passed out on the floor though? Who carried him here? He saw a note on his arm, so he ripped it off. The note said:
"Heya Espresso! I found you on the floor and you were in a very vulnerable state, so I dragged you up here! You're welcome!
-Princess :)"
He didn't actually care at all and just went back down. He covered his mouth this time as he didn't want to sleep. So he entered with his hand on his mouth.
Not because of the sleepy thing though...
Because Red Velvet and Carrot were dead in front of him. He felt extremely shocked.
*DING DONG DONG DING*
"HOW UNUSUAL! SOMEONE KILLED THE DAY AFTER A TRIAL! AND THERE'S TWO BODIES! WOOHOO! GO TO SPARE ROOM A!"
Pastry was the first in and she seemed emotionless. But the she saw Red Velvet. She smirked and said to Espresso "And the evil is finally gone. Now I can spread justice.-"
"PASTRY!" Said Pumpkin, walking over.
"What? I have no time to interact with you-"
"DID YOU KILL HIM?! AND CARROT?!"
"N-No! I see why you'd think that, but I did not."
"Like we're gonna believe you, Ultimate Red Velvet Hater!" Said Strawberry Crepe. Pastry glared at them.
"You were working with him!"
"YEAH I WAS! AND NOW HE'S DEAD!"
"HE WAS THE EVIL TO THIS WORLD! HE MADE EARTHBREAD SUFFER WITH HIS DISGUSTING LEADER!"
"DO NOT INSULT DARK ENCHANTRESS COOKIE!" Crepe had Wafflebots out. Pastry had a crossbow equipped. As they were about to fight, Latte stopped them.
"Can you guys not? Carrot and Red Velvet are dead!"
"I agree, are we here to investigate or fight?" Asked Mint. They both stopped.
*investigation start*
Jellykuma gave Knight the notebook.
"These are the corpses of Red Velvet and Carrot, who were murdered at 4:50 pm. Red Velvet suffered many holes in his arm and strangulation. Carrot had a slit throat."
"Any discoveries?" He asked.
"Yeah. He has holes in his arm. Like, small and thin ones." She said.
"So you believe it was Pastry?"
"Yeah. It's very likely. I just don't know why she killed Carrot though. I know this came out of nowhere, but it's nice to see you in once piece." She smiled.
"I feel like I could've died yesterday because I was in this room." She looked at him with a creepy and confused stare, no longer smiling.
"More context please."
"Well I was practicing coffee magic and suddenly I got really tired. That's not normal because I never get tired. I think I was in here at 4:30 pm." Just then, Tiger Lily walked over.
"Gas!" She blurted out. They looked confused.
"Sleep gas! Weapons everywhere! Someone put gas in room while you there!"
"You think someone tried putting me to sleep?" She nodded. He thought about it and it made some sense. She then went to accompany Princess. Espresso decided to see Carrot, who had clearly been bleeding from her neck. Lilac was examining a corner of the room.
"Guys, I found a knife." He pulled it out and it had blood on it.
"So that must have been used to kill Carrot." Said Blackberry.
"ALLLRIGHTY GUYS! MAKE YOUR WAY DOWN TO THE ELEVATOR! WE ARE DOING THIS NOW!" They went down, Pastry getting a lot of glances.
